He already broke his hand and recovered I heard. I mean, I get it.... Big boy with a good core of guards....solid chance at playing in Rupp. But he has big time things waiting on him that can truly truly set him up for great success. It only takes one bad hit or mishap to take that away. On the flip side he could benefit completely by playing basketball. I just feel that with the odds playing into Ben's favor the parents have to make the choice for the kid so he can pave the way. It's such a great honor to play in Rupp, but the MLB only a fraction get that chance. Hope it works out for him either way. Hear he's a great kid.

Spencer Free and Keishon Gilkey(Harrison), Canada (MontCo), Swolsly (StPat), Riley (Cal Christian), Hamilton and Brady (Bracken), Burden (Robertson), Letcher(Nicholas), Dunaway, Lofton and Perkins all Mason, are just a few of the leaders you'll see step into the hunt for the final best 10-15 players this season. Pretty clean group of individuals to spectate. The preseason top ten is solid. No doubt about it.

Agreed. Much more to offer geographically and much more walking the hallways than Mercer. Clark is always in a position to fight for titles there as well.

Could be a classic cliche of good things come to those who wait. Not sure Mercer would choose Gomes unless it was an interim deal with a contingency in place. Trevon would have to convincingly stay a Mercer. Nothing against Gomes just heard from coaches he's had his resume all over the place with no offers. However, circumstantially, his stock is up. Great news for that young coach. Why not give it to him and see the naysayers proved wrong

Watch out for the list of classless 16th region coaches take their punishment out on this team in their season. Holy Family needs a good effort to build its program. Small school scheduling is the difference maker for this bunch

Sean Noble product at the helm his season. Could be a fiery group and mod certainly aggressive.

I would say Bolus can only rank who he sees. I will tell you though, the Ethan Haynes kid could be special for Boone County. He may get stolen by the other fighting 9th teams. He is a D2 ready recruit right now. 6'4" shooting guard with tremendous Athleticism. McQueary needs to hang on to this kiddo.

Cook would be an asset to the 10th Region. Hard to see him leaving for GRC

He'll be high intensity and highly competitive. Perfect for that school. He's a steal. Much respect for a guy coming from the 3rd. He will have to adjust to new officials but will transition nicely due to similar school setting. Good luck Coach Kirkpatrick

This has been a team that has really settled over the last couple of seasons. Doesn't seem like the fiery T-Bred team we should expect.

I can't imagine Grant ever being as good as they were under grammar. He was there when the cupboard was full Looking very sparse. Much cultivation needed in the youth programs. Will-Town may have the upper hand these next couple of seasons

I think Canada is over rated and MontCo has a Chism kid I think is tons better

Heygi - Campbell. They have big too, can't recall his name. Pendleton will have another as well. Top 5 players IMO for a 10th region starting lineup 1-Crawford 2-Jake Ohmer 3-Jacobi Wells 4-Jared Jones 5-Dontae Allen

Dunaway - Mason Garrison - Mason Wells - Paris Ashford - Paris Jones - MontCo Blackburn - Bourbon Swolsky - St Pat Crawford - Bracken Letcher - Nicholas Co Allen - Pendleton Co Gilkey - Harrison Spencer Free - Harrison Co Burden - Robertson Ohmer - Scott Riley - Cal Christian Clark has a guy I can't recall and so does bourbon. This will be a tough top 15 for coaches to vote for In no particular order could all breach top 15 players in region.

I'm calling Kirkpatrick as the new hire. Heard from a good source Reitz is out. Coach K is Catholic and has teaching experience. As well as a new face for the area. He's my pick. However Rigdon would be the strategic hire for the basketball program.

No clue who either of those two are. Can you fill us in? Never heard of them.

Regardless these fellas are gonna be tough. I believe they will be tough for the next few seasons. there's an excitement in Sandy Hook and people are dedicated to the development of there basketball program. Adkins is a fine coach and an even better human being. This is the right combination for future success at Elliott Co. Adkins may be sought out by some higher profile schools. That new school in Lexington Ky may be in his horizon. I know I'd gun for him as the first HC for that school.
