Just finished Campbell Co. 5-0 win over Bracken Co. Got to take my hat off to the Mustang faithful supporters for building the best high school baseball complex I have personally ever seen. 1st class is a dramatic understatement. As to the game the Camels got a complete game shutout from their #2 Mercurio and held out #1 Schumacher for the winner of the upcoming Harrison Co. vs GRC game.

Heard 10th Region moved to Monday at Bishop Brossart. Can anyone verify and does BB play near their turf football/track complex.

You threw me a curveball when you said 20 miles down the road. I keep thinking of Jake and his Maysville roots and not his move to Richmond. My mind sometimes has senior moments. I agree with your comments 100% and think Jake is going to be a solid 4 year contributor in basketball unless he gives it up totally for golf.

Candidly I am totally oblivious to your argument. After leaving tenure I worked 50 years in business with the only job assurances was what and how I did my job might earn me another day on the job. Kind of a motivator for best performance.

Just never thought a teacher or coach would not move to a better job because they would be starting over and not have tenure. Always viewed tenure at best as a modest amount of protection from inept administrators.

Will Wade is like the perpetual speeder that got arrested for going 100 mph through a 15 mph school zone. We have now eliminated the school zone and raised the speed limit to 85 mph. Guess LSU thinks what he did then should be viewed through different lenses as it was only fractionally illegal in today’s world.

Are quality educators concerned with tenure at all?

Shocked! Shocked! Shocked! Been out of education and coaching since 1974 and back then the HC football and basketball stipends were $3,000. That’s 49 years ago and we have done that little……appaling.

I am shocked that any school would place such little value on the impact a high school coach has on our youth.

I still believe Owen’s Crawford would be an awesome hire. He has an impeccable resume, really knows basketball, players love him and candidly it is his time to go after and grasp this opportunity.

Does this mean that the players coming back might need to take a payout?

Is Rondo going to be the engineer of the offense or the deep wing distraction that they used him as for the entire 4th qtr against Butler? Hard not to like this young man’s mature game.

I am very curious how N. Oldham used Rondo in the 2nd half. As opposed to touching the ball as the primary engineer, he seemed to be inert on the deep wing allowing the game to be basically 4X4. Anybody got thoughts?

Jeremiah Jackson’s defense was a total denial blanket for the 2nd game in a row. Made life very difficult on McGillis of CovCath and on Davidson of North Laurel today. Just a one man blanket on both.

63 year Championship drought in basketball is hard to believe with how they churn out championships in all other sports (football, golf, swimming, etc.). Next game will not be a walkover, as a Sweet Sixteen game sometimes can be.
