Feldhaus still to Belmont?

Featured Replies

Been meaning to bring this up, since the Belmont Coach has left for Kansas State and a couple of Belmont players have entered the portal, does Jake Feldhaus re-open his recruitment, still stay with Belmont or follow the coach to Kansas State?

Any chance Jake follows the legacy in the rafters?

I'd really like to see Rick get him to St.John's, but not much golfing probably in that area, lol.

Jake has to choose a school based on his specific talents and where he fits in to play, that will rule out StJohn’s and probably KSt also, he’s an in between player with his size and limited shooting from outside, mid major schools should be his focus.

Is it true he chose Belmont, partly because they would allow him to play on the Belmont golf team as well? Have always heard that.

I spoke with Jake at the sweet sixteen.  He will still be attending Belmont and playing basketball only.

Since Pope has showed no interest at all, I'm guessing no.

I do somewhat agree with your thoughts, but Jake entered high school as an unheralded freshman and now is gatorade poy and Mr. Basketball.  He will continue to improve.  As a high school senior he is a better player than his father was, and I'll say Deron ended up pretty well.

Still thinking Belmont was a great choice based on his talent level.

Not being critical of your comment at all, but that is today's mindset and it is probably the best one. There are several players who will play for four schools in four years! What a letterman's jacket lol.

If I was a kid I would try to play at least a year or two at the University of Hawaii and at least a year or two at either a Montana,Idaho or Wyoming college, lol. But hey that's just me.

Oh, but the perks, Hawaii speaks for itself, then a couple of years of riding horses and fly fishing. Honestly, if it's an option open to you why not use it to your advantage to live somewhere different year to year, make a little money and have your college paid for. As with most of these kids, wouldn't be picking up a basketball after college anyway.
