Well, I guess it was too cold tonight here in Floyd County. Our game was cancelled due to temperatures and a light mix of snow during the morning time.

They need to quit putting so much emphasis on Kobe, in my opinion. I think they need to get their selves a franchise player to build around and let Kobe teach him in his last couple years of playing. I think that that's the only option for the Lakers at this point.

NFL is turning into rules galore. I assume they implemented this rule because Jimmy Graham basically broke the field goal post in the post season with his dunk after a touchdown. But to me, that's exciting and something that I'll never forget about as I get older. Watching the field crew try to line that field goal post up with a level. It was hilarious and something that added to the excitement of the game, why take it out?

The Bobcats will need to fill in some key spots in losing 13 seniors with 9 playing key positions. Losing: (Starters) QB/DE - Dylan Hamilton TE/MLB - Blake Spencer RB/MLB - Houston Hall C - Avery Boyd RG - Austin Gillespie RT - Jordan Stewart LG - Dakota Hamilton DL - Blake Williams SS - Zachary Bowens CB - Dylan Meade Although they lose a lot, they return a heck of a junior class that has TONS of experience in playing high school football. So I look for another successful season. But district will be tough this season with Shelby Valley and Prestonsburg returning a lot, should be another exciting and positive season for Bobcat football! We are continuing to make strides in building a football program one step at a time!

This is a little off topic, but I saw cigarettes. If there is any women in this thread, do you all find dipping a turn off?

I agree 100% absolutely, positively with Cuban!! I love football and the NFL; but when you begin to want to extend the season, put more games in London, and play games on another night to get more games on TV. You are getting greedy like Cuban said. My sentence for this situation is a very common cliché. If it isn't broke, don't fix it!

So dag on glad I joined this site, because I have found the thread I have been stressing about all year! This entire season my buddies have been talking about how Coach Cal needs to be gone and how one and done players are ruining the University of Kentucky. I constantly told them about how we just needed to give these boys time and let them buy into the philosophy that Cal tried to imply to these boys that went from the best players in the country who touched the ball every time down the court in high school, to guys who are just a mix of players that are the best in the country. Now that they have started playing well these same buddies of mine that were screw UK back 3 months ago are now the biggest UK fans to ever step foot on this earth and it absolutely kills me. I'm all for everyone having an opinion on what they think about our sports team, but when you constantly bash them when they're doing bad but are right there buddy buddy when the success gets back going is a huge pet-peeve of mine! Sorry for my rant, but it has been bothering me forever!

I know today at Betsy Layne, coaches forced our baseball players to suit up in jogging pants and sweatshirts for the entire practice. But temperatures here where in the low 50s, so it wasn't terribly bad and the sun was beaming the whole day with little to no wind.

This man is either going to be a complete genius or a total idiot! But either way, I like his confidence in the team.

Earrings on a woman is fine by me, unless you have them on every inch of your ear. Tattoos are a turn-off for me though.
