I agree that as an overall whole, they were weak. But they had a lot of quality teams that could have broke a couple more high-seeded hearts. And thank you for the welcome, been here for a day and already addicted!

SEC was trashed all year about being weak, but now they're starting to show that the SEC does have quality teams.

I agree, we should have definitely been higher than an 8 seed. Dick Vitale even agrees with that, and he hates Kentucky!

I do not know as far as their ranking specifically, but I do know that they're a fundamentally sound baseball team! They seem very well coached and have high baseball IQs. We traveled down there I think, Thursday, and lost by a score of 9-2. We had an atrocious first inning allowing 7 runs to pass by.

Like Cal said in his post-game press conference just then, this should have been an Elite 8 game with the winner going to the Final Four. The committee did horrible in how they set these matchups between great teams in the stinkin second round!

Wiggins played horrendous in this game, allowing Stanford to bother him all game long! Stanford is fundamentally sound and gritty when it comes right now to it.

Hate Duke with every being in me, but Coach K is a classy man and made it shown right here. And the reaction from the Mercer players where pretty special!

These boys played with so much heart and desire to win that it was a pleasure to be apart of BBN. One of the greatest games I've ever watched!
