I agree. His behavior last season in both games should have been embarrassing to CAL. First game when they beat us, he was jumping up, and down on the sidelines, and running his mouth to our players. The second game, he was no where to be found after the game, to shake hands. Very bush league.

It is a Friday. It's at CAL. Very nice stadium. It will be packed. It will be physical. It will be low scoring. These team don't like each other very much.

Rain was miserable. The only thing it did though was keep us from putting more points on the board. Both sides of the line, was dominating. We were bigger, and more physical. I likes the new wrinkle we put in the backfield last night. Now it's on to CAL. We respect the program, but don't like them very much. I'm sure they feel the same about us.

35 - 7 halftime. Colts shoving them around. Rain is miserable.

I could care less about the number in front of our name. It won't win you any games. We are at the point in the season now, that we need to show up each week, and continue to get better, and things will work themselves out.

Boys should be ready to play after a bye week last week. Just hoping that they are focused, and not looking forward to next weeks huge game.

This bye week is just what the doctor ordered. Couldn't have come at a better time.

All I can say is #5 for FC is a stud. You have to account for him on every play on both sides of the ball.

Snake, I know we kid a lot back and forth. But you guys don't have Fern Creek numbers. Fern Creek against Mayfield, I'd take Fern Creek everyday. That is a solid football team. I've seen Pulaski play this year, and Fern Creek has the horses to beat them.

Boyle is a good football team. They put a running clock on Danville I believe. I believe Fern Creek to be better than Boyle. We had a war with Fern Creek last night. Danville has a great tradition, I'll give you that. But NCC owns the east, and until you guys can beat them, then everything else is pointless. We have our own battles here in the west, Mayfield, CAL, Murray, which by the way i would favor all 3 against Danville. Believe me I'd love for us to play Danville, I just don't see it happening.

DeSales will be just fine. That Fern Creek team is pretty good. They reminded me of those Central teams a few years ago. Athletes all over the field. I can see them making a good run in 5a. I'm even more convinced now that we can contend for the trophy again this year. We won't face another team, as athletic as Fern Creek.

Fern Creek, is a solid football team. They reminded me of some of those Central teams a few years ago. Fern Creek would beat Boyle Co, Just as DeSales would beat Danville.

You need to get out of Danville more. lol DeSales would do just fine against Boyle. I'd love to see the Colts play danville.

You like Danville's chances to make the title game? I can choose about 4 to 5 teams in the west that I would favor over Danville if that were to happen. 2 of those teams I don't think it would ever be close.

All this is all good, and fun. But the only thing that needs to be said at this time, is.... IF!!!!!!! I know another team in western ky, who didn't live up to the hype the last cpl of years. Hope it's not either of these 2 teams. I really want to see a DeSales vs Mayfield semi. Both healthy, and hitting on all cylinders. Let's get this rivalry started in Nov.

lol, just to clarify. We beat Butler 49 - 13. I couldn't tell you the last time someone scored 31 pts on us. Maybe if you added all the scores up last year? lol And for the war memorial comment. I promise you this. We'll bring as many fans there as you guys will have. You have no idea. We are road warriors. We don't have a home field. You better start worrying about your lines. If they were indeed getting shoved around by McCraken, then you guys will be in a world of hurt against DeSales.

Mayfield lost. Big deal. It's one game. We have fern creek this week, and we could easily lose that one. Now from what I am reading here, is that if any part of Mayfield is soft, then they will be in trouble if they meet DeSales. We are built to be physical.

Id take us over McCraken any day, every day.

Ballard came in cocky. They had that typical 6a mentality, that they thought they could handle us. It didn't take them long to figure out that wasn't going to be the case. DeSales's MO for the past few years is strong fundamentally sound hard nose football. We aren't flashy, but we are physical. Ballard passed the look test. They had size everywhere on the field. They aren't a bad team, but we made them look bad last night. Their qb I'm sure woke up sore this morning. Now we move on to Holy Cross. Hibernian cup. I like our chances.
