The 8 th grade transfer for RC is a stud from all info I’m hearing. Also had a transfer from Bracken I believe also an 8th grader I think.

Well all I know is what I hear from my friends to the west. I don't know what goes on in your part of the state. Too far away for me to care about anyway honestly. As bad as you want them too GRC can't win all the preseason debates. I'm sure GRC will be the best team in the 10th this season, and should win the 10th. With all the talent they have coming back and all the (newly acquired) talent they should dominate both boys and girls basketball this season. Anything less would be considered a down season one would assume. This whole thread is all opinion based. You have yours and I have mine. Cant you just let me have my opinion and not turn tis into a GRC is the best at everything and if you don't agree I'm going to keep quoting you till you do debate?

Fact is I didn't say the rest of the kids in the region didnt work hard. I said no kid works harder. Maybe as hard but not harder. But whatever Now I remember why I took such a long absence from this site.

Where in my post did I say other kids don't work hard?? I said there isn't a kid that works harder than Allen. I'm sure the kids at GRC work hard and MoCo kids hard. Bracken kids work hard Mason, etc. Never said anything otherwise. So I don't really understand where you are coming from with your line of questioning

I’m going that far :lol2: like papa said the only true D1 player in the region. Been watching him since the 8th grade. Legit talent and there’s not many if any at a county high school that works harder in their craft. Maybe the prep school players do but I don’t think they work harder but just as hard as Allen. Not sure where PC will rank as a team but they will have the best player the next 2 seasons.

Senior only award then I feel it will go to Eric Johnson. He is the best Senior in the 10th region. Dunaway is second but there is a gap between the two. Neither are the best player in the region. That goes to Allen hands down not even close. Its a shame that not all players are considered for the award honestly.

Paris 21 Raceland 17 Paris gets the nod for me because the game is in Paris. If it were at Raceland or a neutral site Id take the Rams. Home field will play a big role in this one.

This ^^ Nothing is a 100% given in high school sports. My Polar Bears had better be ready to play when they step off the bus. If they can create turnovers and keep their attitudes in check and not get those careless penalties, anything can happen. I'm sure nobody gives them much of a chance, but upsets happen. Just ask Ryle. If Paintsville come in over confident and takes for granted this will be "easy win" then that will only play into Brackens favor. I believe our coaches will have the boys ready and they should be able to play loose because their not expected to win.

I never said they would beat them all I was implying is its definitely possible. Everything would have to come together and we would have to play a near perfect game. Not to mention a little luck wouldn't hurt.

Is this the same guy that played for the Celtics? I was at Williamstown a month or so ago for a volleyball Match and see several pictures of a guy that played for the Celtics.

Bracken 40 Fairview 6 Don't know much about Fairview, but I do know that Bracken has a high scoring offense that features top 1A rusher Tad Fisher. And they have added that piece to the puzzle they didn't have last season and that the passing attack. Lets not for get in their 2 losses this season, they were a blown coverage away from defeating Ludlow and was up on Paris a couple different times until the defense just completely broke down in the second half. Could very easily be 9-1 right now or dare I say 10-0. since the Paris game they have allowed just 26 points had 2 shutouts, while scoring 121 points. Now im not ready to call the upset in round 2 just yet but I am sure Paintsville had better bring their A game and not overlook Bracken or it may just be a the polar bears awaiting the Paris/Raceland winner. :idunno:
