Who wins this matchup? Will Paintsville put it away early? Can Bracken County steal one and shock the 1A world?

Bracken has to play flawless football, and get some turnovers to have a chance in this one.

This ^^

Nothing is a 100% given in high school sports. My Polar Bears had better be ready to play when they step off the bus. If they can create turnovers and keep their attitudes in check and not get those careless penalties, anything can happen. I'm sure nobody gives them much of a chance, but upsets happen. Just ask Ryle.

If Paintsville come in over confident and takes for granted this will be "easy win" then that will only play into Brackens favor. I believe our coaches will have the boys ready and they should be able to play loose because their not expected to win.

I may try to watch this one since I will be in Paintsville anyway Friday.

But Bracken better be ready to stop a 285 Tyrese Allen.

And Allen is a frickin load !!! Don’t see BC being much of a challenge for the Tigers ... Paintsville is very solid in every phase ... their front four and team quickness on defense is gonna make it hard for BC to get anything going on offense and their schemey offense is gonna put up points quickly because first off you are gonna have to concentrate on stopping that giant in the backfield they hand it off to and believe me he is a freight train running down hill ... I just don’t see anything less than a Tigers vs Tigers final in Class A ... and nothing against Paris , Raceland , or Hazard ... I am pulling for Paris but they have a tough road to go to get there ...

Paintsville has played without a couple starters on both sides of the ball the last couple weeks. Will be exciting to see what they look like when they get everyone back on field! Bracken has a good team. After the way Paintsville's run ended in 2015 and 2016, I can't see them overlooking anyone! Hazard and Paintsville have really good size up front for 1A teams. Not sure that Bracken Co has seen anyone with a DL big/fast like the Tigers.

I'm thinking results similar to Ludlow going to Beechwood a few weeks back.

This would be a monumental upset. The DC has been Bracken's most valuable player this season, maybe he has another superior game plan up his sleeve for the Tigers

Paintsville is in a different league. Truly hoping the Polar Bears have 48 minutes of fight in them, no matter the score. Their personal effort will be what each player remembers years from now.

I know Phelps sit out for fleming. I know Chris Allen didn't play against Nicholas. Who all has been out?

Bracken has improved its program over last couple of years. But still haven’t reached the level needed to win Friday.

Tigers too much for the Bears. Paintsville 43-14

Paintsville 48

Bracken 20

Bracken needs to come out and play focused. If they have quick turnovers this game will be over before halftime.
