  1. Ryle and Campbell County should both be a couple slots higher at least.
  2. Ugly indeed. The JV game was cancelled due to lack of a team I believe by Scott although the frosh game was played. I think this is one of the teams that will fall off the CCH schedule in the near future and rightfully so.
  3. Don't have details but CCH ended it with about 20 minutes left and Scott down to 10 players on the field.
  4. LOL. My prediction was for a close game. You seemed quite confident of a Brossart victory.
  5. Yes, too bad it's not. Calvary Christian 2 Brossart 1
  6. Wow, good result for Ryle and N. KY.
  7. Just based off of scores, I think this is much closer than 4-0.
  8. Ryle/Moeller matchup is the most interesting to me but I think Moeller wins that by 3 goals. St. X/South Oldham is another game that sounds interesting. I'll go with South Oldham in that one by a goal.
  9. Sorry to hear this. It has not a good week for the Dixie folks. Didn't a former football player die in some accident at Georgetown? Prayers for both families.
  10. This isn't the Mason team from last year but they are good I'm sure and it was a scrimmage. Regardless, Moeller will be more than a handful for Ryle. If they can keep that game within 3 goals I think that would be doing pretty well.
  11. 2 of the top 5 pre-season D1 schools on the other side of the river. While it is pre-season rankings, it does look like a tough week ahead for Ryle.
  12. I saw the end of this game and I thought that St. Henry was playing quite a bit of their bench in the second half. Sanders and Manahan were both out if I recall the last 10 mins or so.
  13. Not sure that Ryle has been tested much yet but that will change tomorrow vs Moeller. If they can hang with them then I'd say they are for real. I think Moeller has a pretty solid team this year. CCH has had a slightly tougher schedule to date than Ryle but they have a cupcake tomorrow in Scott and then they should find out more against Walnut Hills and Elder, although both are down this year.
  14. This early in the season I think it's hard to comment on this stuff until we have a few more games between the top 20 teams and some of the teams not yet mentioned on this poll.
  15. While I'm sure Trinity is good, probably not 7 goals better normally but I haven't seen them yet.
  16. That is a surprising result. The field appears wide open statewide this year from these early results with the possible exception of Trinity given their shellacking of Highlands but I'd be surprised if they are that far ahead of the field at the end of the year.
  17. Only saw the first half but KCD was really overmatched in this one and CCH has work to do still offensively. Execution in the final third is really lacking, the ball movement and player movement off the ball is very slow and the finishing is not there. Was surprised to see only a 4-0 final in this one. KCD looked pretty young to me.
  18. Opener for Trinity I believe but the second or third game for Highlands. Who did all the scoring for Trinity?
  19. A lot closer than I thought it would be. Any details?
  20. Nice win for Ryle. Any details?
  21. I know that internet service is spotty at best in Boone County, but hopefully someone from Ryle can post some updates of this game slated to start at 6:00 pm. It will be interesting to see what the state runner-ups have this year.
  22. It's interesting that CCH only has 28 frosh football players. This may be the first time in the history of the school that frosh soccer players (29) outnumber frosh football players.
  23. Tell that to the 15,000-20,000 people that show up at Nippert for minor league soccer each game. How many would a softball game draw?
  24. Good to know Steve Hahn got his votes in.....
  25. I see CCH rebounding after a less than stellar performance last night but I don't know anything about KCD. I will go with 3-1 CCH.
