Play tonight at Calvary at 5pm. Any thoughts?

I have not seen Brossart play yet but it seems they got a decent result against a quality St Henry team. It will be interesting to see. Having seen Calvary play 3 times I feel I can elaborate a little more. They have quality and talent at key positions and seem like they are very close to turning the corner to being a really good team. I would say Bishop wins this 4-0 (just based off past experience with Brossart) but I could see Calvary being a dangerous team come tournament time.

Does Calvary have many freshmen playing at the varsity level? I know they have a couple of high level club kids on their Varsity roster, but do they have any depth behind them?

I think they are close to turning the corner being a good team. Meaning they aren't there yet but missing a couple key components. That is why just based purely on opinion I would guess they lose 4-0. Could be less could be more. Lots of teams could be good in the future and lose today

They have 4 on the roster I think. It seems McNiell and Lockard seem to get the majority of minutes as far as freshmen.

Could be and I really hope that it is. I haven't seen Broasart one bit, but just based off the the past I took a wild swing in the dark.

Brossart won 6-1 and 4-0 last year.

Calvary club talent every position and very young w several fresh, soph playing big minutes- they just get better

Went to penalty kicks after two 5 minute overtimes. Calvary was hungry and wanted the W. Good group of classy kids at Calvary. Brossart had opportunities and shots at end of regular time but could not finish. The Stangs will need to regroup quickly as they host Highlands on Thursday evening.

That's the truth. Great result for Calvary tonight. They could be a dangerous team in October.
