Wildcat

The senior is doing it all!!!

What an excellent testament to what every parent SHOULD want for his/her child!!!!!! How can anyone argue that should be taken away?????????

How big?

What is going on so far?

Highlands will be ready to play a game about mid-week of Spring Practice; does anyone NOT think this is a major factor in them being ready to roll in Week 1 and a dominant football program???? Why other schools don't seize this opportunity is beyond comprehension.

I don't think the results will impact KY football; most knowledgeable fans/critics know Trinity/Highlands are not representative of KY football; these 2 programs are in a different league!

Can they win the Region?

Then that is good for CCH in the long run!!!

Big assumptions (for LexCath/Boyle district winner)- beating the NKY district's #2?????!!!!!

If the administration wouldn't give these type of things an ear, they would go away and cease to exist for the most part.

That is why I said "if" they see the Birds....

I don't think there's any question 9th call it tighter; as far as the lack of success by 9th teams, there were a lot of reasons for that.

CNNSI.com cited Pike as an elite 5 star QB prospect.

That will be a problem if they see the Birds as Highlands' big boys will be as fresh as can be from only playing one way; in the trenches, that makes a huge difference in the 4th Qtr.

Isn't it great; the only teams that schools who won't schedule Trinity are hurting is themselves and it boosts the Rock program!!!!!!! I have to admit, sometimes I get tired of Highlands and Trinity's success, but when I hear all the excuses- i become a huge Bird-Rock fan!!!!

Ryle really? Most give them a chance, but none on here have made them a favorite. Why do you see them as a favorite?

Can Highlands threaten NCC's district championship hopes or is NCC just too good this year?

Historically, officials from outside the 9th "let the kids play" much more than 9th Region officials do; this has always been a part of the theory as to why the 9th Region teams have not done well in the State Tourney.

Does this hurt their momentum going into District play???

Who are legitimate contenders in 2011? A- Beechwood, Mayfield, ??? AA- NCC, ??? AAA- ??? AAAA- Highlands, Lex Cath, Boyle Co., ??? AAAAA-??? AAAAAA- Trinity, ??? These are teams who are always a contender due to coaching and tradition or who have a lot of returning players from very good teams; who else???

So how many kids will play both ways?

Absolutely the toughest schedule in the history of KY high school football!!!!!!!

1- Dixie Heights 2- NCC 3- Holmes 4- CCH 5- Ryle 6- Boone Co. 7- Holy Cross

To some schools, coaches, parents, and players, working as hard as Highlands and Trinity do year-round is unfathomable and they will never beat them, but they will continue to make excuses.

It should be a goal of Trinity if it is not; by playing a "national" schedule, they will only continue to draw more good players; by playing the excellent schedule, they will continue to improve as well. The schools in KY who choose not to play Trinity are only "feeding the fire!"
