Although BG freshman, Vito Tisdale has been used on defense 95% of time, he still has 4 TDs or so as a freshman. Does any other BG freshman have more Varsity points than him or is Vito the alltime leading freshman in scoring at BG? If its too hard to find, no worries. Just curious. I think if he is alltime leading scorer as frosh and if he were to be the feature RB as a sophomore, he will make a run at Caruthers scoring title (I think Caruthers gets that title) For non-Purples fans. BG freshman rarely, if any, get to be a contributor at Varsity level Thanks DF!

Looking forward to the game. My prediction of another running clock is not a slam agaist McCrackin, just my opinion. Looking forward in our young defensive backfield being tested. As I said at beginning of year, if you beat Purples this year you do it by the pass. No one around here will beat them with the run. With that said, everyone, including BG coaches have been pleasently surprised of how well and how quick our defense came together. The mark of a really good team is their consistency and how they improve throughout year. Anyone that watched Purples play last week saw a team that is peaking. Perfect timing. Cash Jones, IMO, is better than kid at Christian County and better than the backup qb we faced in St X. Jones will be best QB we have seen since the kid that was at Pulaski last year. I feel Purples will have great success in this challenge. Team Speed will once again prove too much for our opponent. Purples win big

Agree with W,E, Raider. Get the clock and get starters out of game. Caruthers is on pace to break BG scoring record. Coach Wallace is helping Caruthers get the scoring title but in a classy way. If Caruthers played full games he would already have it. He could get 10 TDs if Coach would let him in 2 playoff games. Purples score 50+ in all remaining games

Been around BG football for many years. 1st half of tonights game could be the best Purples have ever played. Clark Payne is a machine. Real difference in game was O and D line When will teams realize you cant run east-west vs Purples Purples D is most underated D we have ever had 50 to 0 doesnt get close to how much Purples dominated game Dangelo Wilson. Is good. Really good Vito, if healthy as a Purple, will be BG highest recruit we have ever had. You heard me correctly Did I mention how well D and O line played for BG I do feel for Jackson Adams. Good player but couldnt have picked a worse time as a junior (and next year as a senior) to play the Purples. People laughed and jabbed at me when i said we would get 9 out of 10 running clocks in regular season and 14 of 15 for year. I still think Purples do it. This is the best Purples team we have ever had. I truly believe that Great job tonight. Wow!

No words to describe how well BG is playing. They are on a mission. Jackson Adams will get one step and have three purples on it. Of course our skill players are at another level but our offense and defensive line is playing unbelievably well. No team in the state to play with the purples in the first half of tonight's game

Huge honor for both Coach and little Vito. If Vito were at 99% of other schools in Bluegrass he would probably be a 1000 yard rusher this season. Special talent. Coach Wallace deserves this opportunity. Unbelievable run the past several years.

For what its worth BG is going to beat the crap out of South Warren next year. Now, carry on...

IMO, Greenwood has this year and next year to attempt to get a WIN vs Bowling Green. After Jackson Adams is no longer on campus it will be a long while before they compete again vs the Purples. I also predict that when Adams graduates that the Coach will find greener grass at another school. Although Greenwood has this season and next season to try to break the losing streak vs the Purples it will be a huge uphill climb for them because BG is on top of their game the next couple of seasons. BG is actually a bit banged up on defensive side of ball which will help Adams but it is nearly impossible to run against the Purples for 4 quarters. If you beat BG, you run north, south not east, west. You throw quick screens and get your runners behind your blockers. You try to get first downs more than touchdowns. You keep BG offense off the field. BG will adjust quickly and will shadow Adams all night. Adams will break a couple but BG will break several. 52 -18 Purples

Game has to be played (District) but it is games like this where I wish there were a better system in place. Someone a lot smarter than me would have to figure it out but there has to be an answer. I know it wont change but honestly, what good comes out of games like this. Yes, i know life is not always a win. We need to teach kids how to lose. Life lessons may be learned but its still a tough spot when your team will be down by 50 at the half. Again, i know nothing can be done but it would be more interesting in the regular and post season if most games could be competitive

If Caruthers gets the all time points leader at Bowling Green, while going 15-0 with a state championship, he gets the nod IMO

Completely understand where you are coming from ATLCat. Nothing but respect for Trinity Coaching Staff. My bias may be kicking in but just knowing the staff that Wallace has put together at BG and their incredible run over the past several years; since 1990 the Purples are 305-49 (a few of those losses are to the Rocks) and in the last six seasons they are 76-3. May be a homer pick but I would put BGHS coaching staff up against anyone.

You all know how big of a Purple fan I am. Coached in the Purple League back in the day and at the Junior High a few years (great teams - never lost). As far as the Trinity discussion, which I love as much as it hurts to admit it, Trinity would get the nod the majority of years. I think in the last 10 years the Purples would get 4 wins and 6 losses. If not 4-6 it would be very close to that. The 3 year run of undefeated teams with Devin Hayes and Nacarius Fant I believe the Purples would have won those 3. Perhaps this years team would be the 4th win vs the Rocks. What makes our team so good this year is not just our skills (best overall skill players we have had in Payne, Caruthers, Wilson, Kenner) but our offensive and defensive line. Unfortunately, the stars just did not line up for them to play this year. The Purples will be really good the next three seasons but I don't think (I know) they will not be as good as this year because of the O & D lines will drop off a bit. Can Trinity win against them this year? Absolutely. Can the Purples beat the Rocks this year? Absolutely. Can Trinity beat Purples next season? Absolutely Can Purples beat Trinity next season? Probably not Here is my view of this season: No way is Trinity better at the skills positions this year than the Purples. Offensive and Defensive line play is a push at best Depth on O and D line: Trinity wins Athletic defensive backs that can make a play: Advantage Purples Coaching: Push at best, but I give the nod to BGHS 2016 matchup: Purples 35 Trinity 28 Again, all guesses and speculation but fun to think about

I know PRP is on the horizon but I have a feeling some more 6A and/or out of state opponent games are as well. This season will be our best season. The next 2 years Purples will be good but not as good as this group. Our D-line will be hard to replace.
