Bowling Green 50 Greenwood 0

Been around BG football for many years. 1st half of tonights game could be the best Purples have ever played.

Clark Payne is a machine.

Real difference in game was O and D line

When will teams realize you cant run east-west vs Purples

Purples D is most underated D we have ever had

50 to 0 doesnt get close to how much Purples dominated game

Dangelo Wilson. Is good. Really good

Vito, if healthy as a Purple, will be BG highest recruit we have ever had. You heard me correctly

Did I mention how well D and O line played for BG

I do feel for Jackson Adams. Good player but couldnt have picked a worse time as a junior (and next year as a senior) to play the Purples.

People laughed and jabbed at me when i said we would get 9 out of 10 running clocks in regular season and 14 of 15 for year. I still think Purples do it. This is the best Purples team we have ever had. I truly believe that

Great job tonight. Wow!

What does this even mean?

The Purples are the #1 team in the state. It's obvious. But a statement like this, which makes no sense, is absurd.

I think this game became a burr under BG's saddle. BG kept starters in longer than normal and expected them to compete and they kept the hammer down. BG D is May, kinda, pretty good.

Kinda, sorta. I concur.

Bowling Green dominated every part of this game. Greenwood is no slouch, but the they had no chance in this game. Purples QB Clark Payne was 13 of 15 for 335 yards and 4 touchdowns...in the 1st half. The defense was the best I've seen in years. They are clicking on all cylinders right now and I don't think anybody will beat them this season.

Wasn't Dingle out for Bowling Green? So they did this without their best defensive player.

The veer is hard to defend, and Greenwood did a good job in the first half last year, but you could see immediately that they weren't going to be able to move last night. Adams lost yardage on the very first play, and rarely found any space. I think I saw a tweet that his first 7 rushes went for -9 yards. I wouldn't say it's impossible to run on BG, but I think you certainly have to have the threat of the pass to do so. Greenwood really doesn't want to pass, and do so sparingly. Their offense is predicated on the notion that they can get at least 3 yards on every play - and are usually in good shape to do so. If they go nowhere on first down, they're in trouble. If they end up in third and greater than 7, they're almost entirely doomed. Especially against Bowling Green.

Last night was further confirmation of what we already knew - Bowling Green has absolutely no peers in 5A.
