You have made some valid points, however I have not seen anything from those 11th Region teams to suggest they will be relevant come Tournament time.... Southwestern was a very young team last year that upset a lot of teams people thought they shouldn't (their place in my Top 10 is with Fitzgerald and Butts there. If they are no longer there, that changes). Cov Cath and NCC are VERY WELL coached, and are factors every year come tournament time. They have the experience and the coaching to always be a factor.

I agree that Hopkinsville is a very good team. They should be considered top 10, possibly even top five in the state right now. But I don't know about the statement that they have multiple high major Division I players on their team. There are barely 4 high major basketball players in the state of Kentucky; let alone on one team.

True.... Many touches per game and has done well with them. Many kids on the team would do the same with the same amount of touches. That's why the team is so dangerous.

So a Preferred Walk On isn't an Offer of any kind, just a statement that that team will let you dress for them and work out with them. So what is the benefit?

Yes they can if they play as a team... Too many talented athletes to just focus on one or two. As long as they continue to spread the ball around to their threats at every position, they will be State Champions... They become one dimensional, and they will have a repeat of last season.

Question: What type of offer coincides with being a Preferred Walk on? Does that mean that the student athlete has to find other ways to pay for his education? Ultimately what I am asking is what is the difference between being a regular walk on and being a "Preferred" Walk on?

No, BG has a very easy path to a State Championship.... Pulaski may be tough in the Championship, but outside of them, 5A is pretty weak.

Considering South Warren is in Bowling Green, the host City for State, I ASSURE you will see more interests/fans at this game moreso than many of the others.... Nice try though! Lol!

If Asland or Johnson Central play SW in the State Championship it will not be pretty... JC just lost to Coach Smith of SWs Fathers Team by 41 points!!! Boyle played a common opponent in Central Hardin and beat them in a close game. SW played he same team a few weeks later and KILLED them with Souths QB playing on 1 leg... So how in the world would they have a chance against SW??
