According to Coach Kevin Wallace, SR Tight End (6' 4" 205 lbs) Dane Drobocky has accepted a preferred walk-on offer from the University of Michigan! Dane has worked really hard his 4 years at BG and continues to get better. Let me be one of the first to say Congratulations! All Purples fans and KY Football fans are proud of you!

Very nice. Great school.

Congrats to the young man! What a great opportunity.

Did he pass up some scholarships to take this PWO?

I don't believe so.. I have heard there were a few OVC schools and maybe Western looking at him beforehand.

If you are going to play tight end, Harbaugh has the best offense for you. What are his measurables? Is he a kid who will move to DLine or OLine?

I know he's around 6'5. As for weight my guess would be around 215. He's played limited reps at tight end, mostly for his need at OLB. IMO I could see Michigan trying to use him on defense instead of tight end. But what do I know

What a great opportunity. I think they will try to get him in weight room and add 25 lbs to him. His height and hands are ready.

Can you imagine excitement of himself, family and friends playing at the Big House? Good luck, get your education and enjoy the ride.

I remember watching some of BG's early highlights and he was definitely a kid that stood out as a key player for them; good luck to him

Congrats to the young man, great stuff
