  1. No Tavin Lovan is #1 in that class.... If you haven't seen him play, get ready for a show! I also like Tony Jackson and Jaylen Sebree....
  2. Jackson vs. Lovan and Sloan vs. Wales (Fern Creek) would be better matchups IMO.... They are closer in skill set and position. Kyran Jones (BGHS) and Chance Moore would be a great matchup too!
  3. I had to take this list to 15 because there were some kids I just felt like I couldn't leave off.... 1. Trevon Faulkner 2. Steven Fitzgerald 3. Ahmad Price 4. Andrew Taylor 5. Adam Kunkel 6. JJ Reed 7. Trey Hill 8. Jalen Johnson 9. Skylar Potter 10. Rodriguez Thomas 11. Mickey Pearson 12. Omar Keita 13. Anthony Wales 14. Shorty Cager 15. Jarius Key
  4. This kid is absolutely killing it right now and has to be considered Top 3 in his class with the way he is playing against the best in the Country.... Does anyone know who has offered him so far, and who is showing interest? Here is a recent article written highlighting him as a top player at the event. #Gibbons top 16U Performers | HoopSeen
  5. It isn't only about losing to other in State teams. It is about Media Coverage and level of competition. If shoe teams are competing off Circuit, they need to consistently play teams that are going to challenge them to be better when they come back to the Circuit. Furthermore, National media coverage is of the utmost importance to the 16U/17U age groups when playing outside of the Live Periods. Playing for State pride is Great, but remember, these kids are trying to earn scholarships.... I believe that if State AAU can ensure more National Coverage, then more teams may be prone to attend....
  6. This weekend two of Kentucky's elite shoe teams are competing in the absolutely LOADED Bob Gibbons Tournament.... Both teams have played extremely well making it to the Elite 8. Ultimately the Louisville Magic lost to Team Thad 37-92 in that round, but the following round the Travelers EYBL got some good ole Kentucky revenge by beating the same Team Thad 69-61. Today the Travelers will be playing in the Championship game of Bob Gibbons against the winner of Pocket City vs. E1T1..... Let's go Boys! Make Kentucky proud!
  7. Travelers 15U win the Championship of the Knoxvegas Initational! Great job guys! Way to represent the State of KY.
  8. Western Kentucky representing! I predict another all Western Kentucky Championship game.... Western side of the State is just too strong!
  9. This was a Crosstown Rivalry game. The kids from both teams grew up together, and Sebree played for UHA the past 2 years. Games like this always bring out the best in the underdog....
  10. Bryan Cummings of South Warren... Anyone at the Championship game knows there are few DBs better than him in the State.
  11. Yep! Glad to see him make the cut. Kid works incredibly hard, and his progression from Freshman to Senior year was AMAZING!
  12. Louisville Male has 2 WR that are 1st team worthy and all of them of Offensive Linemen that are worthy... But I understand that the list is still not complete, so let me refrain until it is finished. I am just surprised so far is all I am saying.
  13. No one from South Warren, Louisville Male, or Belfry yet??? This is interesting so far... Let's see how this list continues.....
  14. Not too Shaby against last years State Champions from Tennessee...
  15. Not true IMO.... That Region is wide open from what I have seen.... No one has separated themselves from the pack. North Hardin has played well in the KOB Holiday Tournanment, and I am not taking that away from them. But we have seen this happen before with teams during Holiday Tourneys.... There are many things at play mentally and physically during this time of the year, and you just never can tell how it will affect players or teams. Once the dust settles from the Holidays, I imagine that one of 4-5 teams will have a chance at winning their Region. Furthermore, when you have a player like Mason Faulkner on your team, you ALWAYS have a chance. That kid is a LEADER!
  16. Jacksons Step Father is in the Army... He is stationed at Ft. Knox, hence the reason Jackson has been at North Hardin since middle school. Adair Freshman..... Well Breeze is there, so you know he probably brought talent with him. Bowling Green gets transfers in every sport. People in Warren County have known that for YEARS! The rest of the State is just now learning it. (You should see the D1 transfers they added to the girls basketball team!!!) Dow and James.... Well they play on the same AAU team, so you can make a guess as to how that happened. Sebree was going to UHA (a private school), but is zoned for Christian County (not a true transfer). Same thing for Nicholas who now plays for Hoptown.... Russell County actually got another transfer from Warren Central that previously transferred from Hopkinsville (Another AAU Connection).
