I agree with zoneblitz, for OC to make it a game they will have to be able to move the ball on the ground. The passing game is good but the run game is what drives the team. OC's D seems suspect on the passing game but pretty solid on the run, should be interesting to see how it plays out.

And now the important question, where to eat in Owensboro? I have been to Moonlight BBQ and loved it, should I just stick with that?

Scratching my head a little with the North Hardin win. I know they are a typically good team but possibly down this year? They lost bad to DeSales and it looks like OC just barely pulled that one out.

I spoke with someone in the know about Marshall County and it simply boils down to trying to rebuild the football program. When you talk about $$ and where the money needs to go its tough to keep throwing it at a program that isn't winning. They want to get some momentum going back in the program and get the fans and the sponsors back on board.

Looks like it won't load on Google Chrome, it works fine on Internet Explorer, so definitely not as good a site as BGP.

Weird, I tried to pull up the forum and it just shows empty, that forum is nowhere near as good as BGP.

It may sound stupid, but Mayfield just makes more out of what they got, credit it to the coaches, but credit it just as much to the program, those kids dream from the time they hit 3rd grade, probably earlier for most of playing for Mayfield. Sure we have a kid or two go to smaller colleges each year, but most of our kids just don't have the size, Mayfield is just overall better as a team, always has been.

Double dogs looks great, although I do love cajun food, so is Teavana a cajun restaurant? I couldn't find much about it online.

Any locals provide any insight into some good local places to eat there? Last year we stumbled upon Gondolier restaurant and loved it, but we now have one in Paducah so looking for something else, what you got?

I love it at WKU as well, its so easy to get in and out and I like the small town atmosphere, it feels more like a high school championship to me.

I know that competition is tough for good athletes in that area tho, there are several good schools to choose from.

Wow, what a game, Desales defense looked like something you would see on Saturdays for sure, just huge kids, I couldn't believe what I was seeing, 87 and 78, those kids were freaks of nature. I have to give credit to the mayfield coaching staff for the 2qtr thru the rest of the game for the schemes and the Mayfield kids for wearing out the colts defense. It seemed Desales put everything they had into that first qtr and then the wheels fell off. After the 1st qtr I honestly thought it was gonna get ugly and our only way to pull this game off was to go to the air but Mayfield starting opening holes for Bright and he was hitting those holes quick and fast. Mayfield truly is tough at home, that tradition just keeps continuing. GO CARDS!!

Yes, there are some great places to hunt rabbit, I grew up around it with my Dad. The areas up around Wickliffe are the best it seems, where the swamp rabbit live, those are the tastiest things I have ever eaten.
