Top 25 Baseball players in NKY
Nick King 7-0 with 1.75 era batting in .350's, Ross 4-0 with 1.35 era batting in 360's, getting interesting!

Top 25 Baseball players in NKY
On Cincinnati preps Ganns is .507 batting average. No pitcher only there for sure! I see the difference 71 AB's instead of 79. Good luck to everyone mentioned, baseball is alive and well in NKY!

Top 25 Baseball players in NKY
Suchanek 8 2b, 7 3b, 2 dingers, .465 pitching? Forbes 11 2b, 2 3b, 4 dingers .434 Exceptional numbers for lead off hitters, Suchanek has more protection and Ryle's schedule was the toughest along with Highlands. Suchanek should have a championship win in the All A for the resume. Speaking of Highlands, anyone know Jones, Ramey, or Whitford's numbers? Great players who need to be in the conversation and Will Heppler from Covington Catholic. Anyone see the crazy numbers Garret Lehkamp of Walton-Verona has? Great year.

Its hard to tell when the last updates were submitted but on Cincinnati.com has Schiever at 7 2B, 2 3B, 5 HR AVG 4 .405. Another great year.

Highlands 7 Ryle 5
That's production from the bottom of the lineup, Pow! Over came a 6 run and 4 run deficits back to back, no panic. Nice play.

Highlands 7 Ryle 6
Forbes homered under the scoreboard and the wheels came off. He had 2 hits in the 1st inning. How amazing Bunning keeps his composure and shuts out the Raiders for the next 5 innings? Downs for the Raiders wasn't on top of his game but battled well. Ramey's dinger was no doubt off the bat. Perfect bunt location for the win, the Raider 1st baseman didn't play in. Congrats to the Bluebirds.

KHSAA concerned about aggressive behavior
Hellbird having been ejected makes him all the more qualified because of his insight on both sides of the issue. Cursing tirades and touching an umps are unacceptable in any instance. With Twitter, gamechanger, and Iscore no one will really miss anything, but the game would be much more enjoyable for everyone else. My son never came home from a game and commented on any belligerent fan or how intelligent that yelling guy sounded. They want to play the game. They think all adults are idiots already!

Cooper 9 Ryle 7
Cooper's poise is much better this year. The rust is coming off the bats and hit some balls very hard. Dunn hits well to all fields and Holland cranked a shot, they are hitting their stride at the right time.

Beechwood 10 Ryle 9
The Tigers seemed like a great bunch of boys. The most touted players did nothing to draw attention to themselves and played the game the right way. Its easy to get a jaundiced eye reading on here, I for one, was glad they represented NKY in the All A after watching them against Ryle and wish them luck in the regional. Who else besides me thought the ball hit by Ryle to right-center in the bottom of the 7th was outa there game winner? Nice match up.

Boone County 9 Ryle 5
Great pitched game by Ganns with a smoking FB. The lead off batter Teagargen(?) for Boone was 3 for 3 at the plate, what grade is he in? Solid hitter. Ryle made it interesting in the 1st loading the bases after Forbes doubled off the glove and the fence of a sprinting center fielder, great effort, a walk and single by Deters. Ryle added 3 in the top of the 7th with 2 on and a ball hit to the warning track in center ended the game. Boone's solid hitting with RISP won the day and the Raiders 5 errors. Ganns 5 innings 6k Teagarden 3-3 Santomo 2-3 Ganns deep drive to center off the fence 11 hits for Boone Forbes 2-4 2-2B Downs 2B off the top of left center fence Zieglermeyer 2B and solid in relief 8 hits for Ryle

Best Sophomores in NKY
Jake Zieglemeyer for Ryle, starting Varsity pitcher, hits for power but can easily walk, great strike zone awareness.

Beechwood 9 Danville 6 (All A Championship)
I do agree with Old Bulldog, there will only be one state champion. There just so happens to be an All A state tourney champion. Neither to be confused for the other.

Beechwood 9 Danville 6 (All A Championship)
The Tigers won the All A or small school state championship. It just so happens Beechwood may have the talent to complete for the Kentucky State Championship which will include all schools. If BW didn't have the ability to compete in the 9th region tourney we would all be shouting kudos to the Tigers. If my son went to a school that only had a little over or under 200 boys grades 9-12 and they won a state wide tourney for those schools that includes all 16 regions, I would definitely say his team were state champs of that tourney of which his team met the qualifications for. I don't know the qualifications to enter the all A, anyone know?

Colt Cordrey 3B (Ryle) commits with UC Clermont
Great player for Ryle this year, has a homer and been driving in big runs all year. UC Clermont is lucky to nab him!

Beechwood 9 Danville 6 (All A Championship)
Obviously some people have never coached a team in any tournament. I've been down 7 runs in the 7th in the semi's to come back and win the tournament and have lost to the worst team to stay out of championship play. I've had to suicide squeeze with a 9 run lead because I had a pitcher have an asthma attack an was carted away in an ambulance and was left with no pitching. Neither tournament had over 100 teams. You find out everyone has a tremendous desire to win and advance. Everyone brings their very best. Nothing is a cake walk. Genetic advantageous players don't only go to 6A schools. Plus Beechwood will have a chance to win the region and play against teams other local schools have been playing on the weekends. Exciting year for all to be sure!

Beechwood 9 Danville 6 (All A Championship)
Congrats to the Tigers! Congrats to Stringer on tournament MVP! After 4 walks and a balked in tying run in the 6th I thought it was last years regional tourney all over again. Coming back in the 7th with 2K's and 1-2-3 was a huge step in his maturation. Beechwood as a team stayed focused by scored 3 runs without a hit to put it away in extras. Very exciting game. Hats off to Suchanek for battling back after twisting his ankle badly in the top of the 1st on a triple then still taking the mound, his ankle probably looks like a black and blue football this morning, great leadership!

Collins is a complete team, bunt, hit, and throw... they can do it all.

Ryle/Cooper Predictions
Forbes batted lead off for the home team Raiders. It was the fastest I have seen Dunn. It was eerily quiet when Forbes stepped in the batter's box to set the tone after his pre-AB routine. A lot of almost by him, just missed it swings. Forbes finally took a walk on a full count inside breaking pitch that could have been called either way from my view. No one was expecting a pitch that hard and far from the strike zone to break that sharp back to the plate. Yeah, the score was lopsided but each at bat was a battle. I would must rather watch that than 65mph with a 55mph curve, dinkers to right field small ball game.

Ryle/Cooper Predictions
Dunn was bringing gas, his get ahead and out pitches where to big, changing finger pressure would have been enough run on the ball tonight into a gale force wind. Cordrey's homer was huge. Dunn and Forbes battled it out 1st AB of the game, great match up to watch. Forbes was trying to hit it 600 ft and Dunn was trying to touch 100mph!

Ryle/Cooper Predictions
That's funny Rocky! It only took little over 10,500 post! Lol, still catching my breathe... My guess Bellew for Ryle.

Boone County 6 Conner 5 (9 innings)
Ganns going 4-5 with 3 dubs(one off the fence), hustling out an infield single, and pitching into the 7th is putting your team on your back!
