Heard Rex has several college offers. From what I hear has worked very hard during the off season with Chris Hook and Brandon Berger. Throwing controlled mid 80's in the slots, major change and breaker. Hits strong and very fast. Strong closer but will be needed in short. Game changer but it takes a team. St H is young but new coach has great plans. St H also has Tony LaCorte. Big man on the mound with a big stick. Don't count St H out. As we all know, it's all about pitching and hitting.

From the research I've done, the boys should practice with wood bats so they understand and learn the "sweet" spot, which is similar to that of the BBCOR bat. Teaches you to swing harder and to find the smaller sweet spot.

Anybody hearing anything about the new coach at St Henry?

Good for him! He's got one of the best HS baseball coaches around to help build him even more. Good luck and stay healthy young man!

Should be a great and entertaining game to watch. Great players on both sides of the court. I too am a Jordan Noble fan. He's got a great game and has continually improved over the years. I agree St H will need to stop several of the Cov Cath key players for them to make a solid run at Cov Cath. Good luck to the Cru!

Agree with most of the above. I would try to pick a showcase that has limited players, i.e. 50-100 players top. I would also try to find a showcase that doesn't last that long, i.e. 3-4 hours top. Attending camps with 200 players that is over 7 hours long I think is a waste of time unless your kid runs a 6.5 and or can thrown mid-90's.

It is confirmed that Dave Collins has quit from St Henry. I think St H has officially broken two records; 1. Most coaches in 5 years 2. Coach that has quit in the fastest time. Very unfortunate to keep setting the young men up and then letting them down. Perhaps St H needs to evaluate their hiring practices as ITS NOT WORKING!!!

Big Sale: Apparently you have an issue with Coach Collins. Please know I did reach out to the baseball professional community, i.e. Reds players, coaches, etc.. I was told he would be the best coach that St Henry could ever have. The issues where in the 80's. Regarding his private past, that's exactly what they are, PRIVATE. Why do you keep digging up the dirt? If you have something that is real, then publish it, otherwise shut up.

As I said before; Mid 80's issues was a long long time ago. Let's forgive and forget and give the benefit of doubt and perhaps lesson learned right? Geezz. St H baseball needs everyone's support. Great school and great young men.

Great move St Henry!! Really pleased to hear they have a high quality coach with major league experience. The young men especially the Seniors deserve a solid coach as many of them have had 4-5 coaches since they played at St. Henry. Regarding his past, everyone makes mistakes. I'm sure he's learned from his past failures. Yes, he needs to tread lightly as I'm sure St Henry admin will be closing monitoring the situation. No need to dig up past Dirt on a good guy Big Sale. Donated? Doubt it. The real problem as I've stated before is the lack of commitment towards St H's baseball program. Again, no support from the St H Admin.. Case in point: the baseball team has yet to have a banquet and or awards, i.e. letters, awards, etc.. that are well earned. The kids at least deserve to be recognized for what they have accomplished. NOTHING!! VERY SAD!!

So True Butterfingers!! So True!! Not the coaches fault. Doug is a good man. Way too many politics at St Henry. Again, it's all about Soccer and Track. Imagine if St Henry had football? WOW!! So many kids would go to this school. You build a class field just for soccer not football? then you build another "practice" field for soccer. Really? My opinion; St H admin thinks that football doesn't bring kids who want a solid education. So WRONG!! Again, change needs to happen!! So tired of hearing past coaches complain about the St H Admin politics. That's the TRUE reason the coaches leave. FACT not fiction folks. I have the inside and facts. Please do not respond if you do not have the FACTS!!

Very sad to hear. Coach Peddicord was a great coach and a good mentor for the fine young men at St. Henry. Its very unfortunate that the seniors will now have their 4th coach. Certainly indicates that the St Henry AD / Jay Grau and Admin Staff don't care about their baseball program. I can say this as I HAVE NOT seen any of the Admin staff at any of the St H games in 4 years!!!. VERY SAD!! Something needs to change!!! Seems like all they care about is their soccer and track program. Again justified to say this as St H is building yet another soccer field. REALLY? Two soccer fields?!!! Where's the money for the baseball and softball programs? NOTHING HAS BEEN GIVEN TO THESE PROGRAMS IN 4 YEARS!!! The only money that was given to the baseball program in 4 years was the annual money raised from the kid glove money. REALLY?!!! Where did the gate money go that you charged everyone to get in this year? Gee, soccer program? LOL!!! Wake up St Henry Admin!!!

Huge congrats to Ethan!! Great win Ryle!! Ethan threw a full game and was flawless. He has come a long way.

What a difference a day makes right?

Great game for both teams! Played hard!! As I have said before and was denied many times on this site: Kuebbing showed that he is one of the best pitchers in the league. He was backed up by a great defense tonight with timely at bats. The SS for St Henry got key hits, made some great plays and then got a double to move Conradi around to 3rd in the 8th. It takes a team to win games like this. Hats off to both teams and the seniors who played.

Short game: Better have a very good 3rd baseman with a strong arm. Simple, play way up and take it away. That takes away Cov Caths game. Period.

Very sad to hear that Alex Graue was hurt. I hate any young man getting hurt. Great kid, great family and dedication to the sport. My son who has played with Alex on competitive and same teams over the years has always appreicated his great talent, heart and friendship. Such a class act!! Prayers with you Alex!!
