I do think the Birds would be some of the strongest opposed to a regional change.... For the people saying that NCC will move to the 10th... NCC moving to the 10th by themselves makes absolutely no sense. They are right in the middle of a lot of 9th schools. Moving only them would be odd to say the least... I think if you see any moves from that area it would be the whole 36th district to the 10th region.

Graves has good movement on offense. Ohio got good shots, they just didnt go in.

Impressive thing to me today was even through Bolden didnt have a big game scoring, when it got tight, they put it in his hands and he got a bucket or assist.... I also thought BJ made huge shots for them today. The 3s at the beginning calmed everyone down, and he hit a few big ones throughout the game that quieted PRP runs. For all intents and purposes Palmer didnt have a great game. But he brought so much leadership in the 4 th quarter. I also thought 23 gave them good minutes defending the bigs. I give PRP props. They came out and defended the guards. But too many times when they contested shots they went to put a hand up to contest they hit the shooter and sent them to the line. I didnt like how the 4 th quarter seemed to be called tighter than the other three, especially inside. Good win. It just gets tougher.

Is Bolden the only sophomore on the roster Walt?

Heard through the grapevine that if he doesn't decide to play football he could end up staying at Villa with their DIII success this year. Not saying I believe that but I did hear it.

This is an odd move to me... If Mullins leaves, from everything I see and hear it's because of parental complaints... And he's going to go to Walton, which gets more run about parental complaints on here than any other school... Hmm.... But I did hear the rumors at regional that Snapp would end up somewhere in Boone County, so that part of it does make sense.

In short, if they can survive Wednesday and Friday, they have as good a chance as anyone...

Admittedly not seeing all of these teams, judging from what I've seen and heard of them, I'd say there are about 6 teams I could fathom winning it, and 8 that I think are a little above the rest... That being Ballard, MadCentral, Montgomery County, Holmes, PRP, Hopkinsville, John Hardin, and Warren Central.... I would rank them somewhere near that order...

And my top would be 1. Holmes 2. NC 3. CCH Holmes gets the edge at 1, because they just won it this year and have the best returning player... FWIW, I think behind these three you can draw straws...

I agree with the last three mentioned.... The Rowan/Christian game you didn't sit down after about the third quarter because everyone in the place was on their feet... Wing hit his first 7 threes if I remember correctly... And Hickey was everywhere... One of the big things I remember about the Holmes/Central game was Jamel Riley knocking down big shot after big shot for Holmes... And Jeremiah Johnson having missing a crucial uncontested layup that woulda won it sooner for them...

The NCAAs are at Rupp the normal weekend if I remember correctly.

While I agree they want their starters with the big minutes, 3 subs did big things for them at regional. Housely and Hill with great defense on Ruthsatz and McDonald. And Herndon with good ball handling and clutch FTs in pressure situations...

While I agree that the regular season in Louisville is a gauntlet, you can't say 'more battle tested' than Holmes after these past few days... They just beat 3 teams that, if playing in about 4 or 5 other regions, would be at Rupp as well...

I'm interested as to what this term means in terms of recruiting... Does it mean they've made a call? I'm sure they haven't been to a game, as no recruiter can be at a game without someone from BGP spotting them and reporting it... Interested could be they are at Holmes talking to him today or it could mean they are watching his mix tape on youtube. Just trying to clarify.
