I think Ballard is a clear #1, and 2-7 are all in a similar tier. At the bottom it's just more of my gut than anything.

Am I close? Any team I'm extremely over or under valuing?

I think Ballard and Madison Central are the top 2 for sure. I Like Bolden and Holmes at 3, a really good PG can take you a long way in the tourney. I like Prewitt and MOCO 4th, then PRP with the length at 5,and probably Hopkinsvile at 6. John Hardin at 7.

 

After that I think it drops a notch.

Admittedly not seeing all of these teams, judging from what I've seen and heard of them, I'd say there are about 6 teams I could fathom winning it, and 8 that I think are a little above the rest... That being Ballard, MadCentral, Montgomery County, Holmes, PRP, Hopkinsville, John Hardin, and Warren Central.... I would rank them somewhere near that order...

I look for Holmes to make a nice run in the tourney..Look for "Beetle" Boldin to have a nice tournament.

Outside of Ballard and Madison Central, there aren't any teams in this tourney that I wouldn't like Holmes' chances against.

Honest to goodness, though...I think 1-8 are interchangeable for the most part, and 9-16 really are.

I am in general agreement although I would slide PRP down a little. I think Ballard and Mad. Central clear 1-2. Then Montgomery Co. #3

 

I like Holmes to beat PRP, and hopefully beat Madison Central but that will be tougher task.

Ballard and Madison Central clearly the best, but if off a little PRP, Hoptown, MoCo, Holmes can get them. I believe we will see a Ballard/MC final.

Hoptown wasn't tested very well in the first round, no way should they be 2 imo...They looked sloppy...Also JH is to high...

It's a pretty general consensus that Ballard was the team to beat coming in, and I don't see why anything should've changed... Madison Central was the consensus second choice and they came out with a 30 point W. I don't see why anyone would rank anyone but them 1 and 2 til they get knocked out...

 

Holmes and Montgomery County played the toughest first round opponents of the contenders. I'd put them 3 and 4.

 

John Hardin and Hoptown pass the eye test, but looked a little sloppy against lesser opponents. They both could win it, but wouldn't be the betting favorites.

 

KCC and further down the line Graves are the longest of shots...

 

So I guess that makes my list...
