Sweet 16 Officials

Shout out to my guy Jason Reineke from the 9th region who will be working his first boys Sweet 16. He's certainly worked hard at his craft and reps the 9th well.

Who else is working the tourney?

Congrats to Reineke. This is overdue IMO. Reineke and O'Hara have been heads above the rest in the 9th since Campbell left.... And some didn't even like Campbell...

Tim is doing the girls Sweet 16.

Sounds like they got it right in the 9th then IMHO...

That is a topic for another thread.

I believe the 9th has been well represented at the boys & girls Sweet 16 lately. James Pouncy has been a couple/few times in recent years and even worked in the state championship game at least once. Jason is a good official and has paid his dues, so congrats to him!

Clayton Brooks and Dustin Music will be representing the BBA (10th and 11th region).

One would think you'd like this post, Mex! JK. Love me some Tim O'Hara. Outstanding official and an outstanding man.

I would be very surprised if Tim looked at working the girls' state tournament as anything less than an honor.

I believe Brian Sandlin is representing the 8th region on the boys side.

I have another thread on this.

That didn't work out to well for Rowan County.

Now I see where your dislike for him comes from.

Too bad..Sandlin is by far the most pompous, arrogant and egotistical ref I have ever watched call a game. He struts around like he is the show. I feel sorry for the teams that get this clown to ref their games. If Sandlin is the best that the 8th Region has to offer then maybe they should just pass that region over when looking for officials for the state tourney.

Are any of the officials in the state tournament from last night's 9th region final? Where were they from? Seemed to plenty of complaints from last night. Thanks.
