Boone should be able to get the win. Neither team is going to throw it all that well. But Boone's defense is likely able to get more stops and they should dominate the second half.

Last year they had some Man-Beasts. You know it is a problem for the other team when Belfry had kids that looked like the uniforms did not fit and it was not because the kids were fat, they were just ripped. They would run that option and it was pick your poison on who to stop.

NCC actually played one of their better halves in the first half against a very talented Belfry team last year. Down 14-0 and driving to possibly cut it to 14-7 late in the half they coughed up the pigskin. Then Belfry returned the second half kickoff untouched for a TD and the floodgates opened. So it might take another good effort to keep it close. I think NCC may use the dual QBs again but maybe not as extensive as it becomes more clear.

I think both teams will be able to throw it fairly well and this might not be all that low scoring of a game. Both can spread it around and while both have good defenses I think there will be some points on the board. Red and White Tigers are always very tough at home so this should be a good one.

They beat Lloyd not Ludlow although that will be a District win later in the year. Let's see they traveled in the rain and wind and played on grass against a quality team and got a win so I would expect they will be okay in the playoffs. As usual their biggest concern is playing only one good team with a playoff-like atmosphere (NCC non-district last regular season week game) once District play starts until the third round of playoffs usually. That is why the non-district schedule is loaded.

I am going to go out on a limb and say these games will produce a loss for two 1A teams: 4. Paintsville vs. #10 Pikeville 5. Williamsburg vs. #9 Frankfort 9. Frankfort at #5 Williamsburg 10. Pikeville at #4 Paintsville

Questions for the game: 1) Can the Colonel defense slow down Williams? Yes, but Kings may put up some points. 2) If not, can the Colonel offense put enough points on the board to win the game? Yes, might be somewhat of an offensive semi-high scoring game 3) Should I make a day of it and hit King's Island before taking in the football game? No, because I believe Kings Island is closed and only open select weekends. But if they were open you could hear the coasters from the stands at Kings.
