Scott County comes into this game full of confidence after whipping Highlands 71-20. The Cardinals are one of seven 6A unbeaten teams and face their toughest test of 2017 hosting the Crusaders. Moeller comes to Georgetown after suffering a 38-30 loss to #1 Trinity. The Crusaders led 17-0 before Trinity scored and 24-10 at the half. Scott County has shown the ability to score on anyone. If they can stop Moeller's running game, the the Crusaders may rethink coming into Kentucky looking for wins and Harbin points for the Ohio rankings.

Moeller run defense was very solid....

SC has the real deal at Tackle.

How good is the Scott County passing attack?

In general terms, a one dimensional running team rarely would have chance against a team like Moeller.

They have done good passing when they need to.

I'll be honest, I don't see Scott County keeping this one close. They were a terrible matchup for a mediocre Highlands team. All they needed to do was run and hope Highlands couldn't stop it. That won't be the case with Moeller.

I am not sure I follow your logic.

Highlands should not even be a part of the equation, the Bluebirds are not at anywhere near the level of Scott County or Moeller so I don't see the relevance?

Truth!

That is exactly what I was thinking.

I was only referring to the beating Scott County gave Highlands. IMO, Scott County's style of play was a bad matchup for Highlands, which could make Scott County appear better than they really are to some.

Basically I think Scott County relies on the run too much to beat a team like Moeller. However they are good enough with the run to expose a team like Highlands, who to be honest does not have a great defense.

If we want to start making comparisons to handicap this game I think the more alarming one is LexCath drilling Lafayette after LexCath got drilled by CovCath. I know there are a lot of factors there but none of them are good for a temperature on Scott County.

Then take in the fact Trinity only won by 8.

Not sure if they just had an off night , but from what I saw Scott Counties Secondary is a little loose.

Then take in the fact Trinity only won by 8.

Plus when you look at Moeller's schedule this game is nearly a must win for the Crusaders.
