If we want to start making comparisons to handicap this game I think the more alarming one is LexCath drilling Lafayette after LexCath got drilled by CovCath. I know there are a lot of factors there but none of them are good for a temperature on Scott County.

Yet another thing that crossed my mind when looking at some comparative scores. That Lafayette win is look less impressive by the day.

Not sure if they just had an off night , but from what I saw Scott Counties Secondary is a little loose.

That does not bode well for them in that case either because Moe has a good passing game.

Agreed, I hate playing the handicap game myself. I just feel like the Scott County/Highlands matchup was favorable for Scott County. I don't feel the same with with Scott County/Moeller.

Did we just go around in a circle?

One thing is for sure, I am going to be wearing red Friday Night rooting for the Scott County Cardinals!

I can do that all night. :lol2:

I'm with ya there, just may not be as optimistic as you.

Scott County will always be run heavy yes. Are they completely one dimensional? No. Quarterback Josh Davis extremely accurate and has an outstanding Wide Receiver Glenn Covington who is a deep threat and can go get the ball at any time. The key for the cards offense will be passing when they want to to keep Moeller honest and not when they need too. They will have to be able run and move the ball consistently to be able to pass. If Davis can complete 7 or 8 out of 11 or 12 attempts for around 130-150 yards combined with a solid rush attack they will have a chance. If Moeller gets SC in long yardage situations where they HAVE to pass, SC offense will struggle.

Very interested in this one! This will be a very good comparison game between our #1 and #4 6A teams.

I think Scott County has a chance and hope they win but I think Moeller wins this one.

Moe 42- SC 24

I think Moe outscores Scott Co. in a high scoring game.

Rooting for the KY boys but have a feeling MO wins by 3+ scores

Tough one to pick.

Moeller was going to beat Trinity easily, but this one is tough to pick?

After witnessing Moeller vs Trinity Saturday. I would have to say that Moeller was probably the biggest HS team I have ever seen. Their receivers were too big, fast and strong for T in the first half. Three of their receivers looked to be in the 6"5" range and their Linebackers were massive. Along the offensive and defensive lines they were much bigger than Trinity also. Trinity is just very physical up front and made some adjustments at half that turned things around for them as well as #1 going into beast mode in the second half. While I haven't seen Scott County, I have a hard time believing that they can match the size and quickness of the Moeller team that I witnessed on Saturday.

This game will go a long way in telling if Scott county can hang with Trinity or Saint X come the playoffs.
