Check out the Boone Co vs NewCath game. Scored 8 including two monster dunks and had a monster block and altered several shots.

Final. Kind of a workman-like win for NCC. Hall is the real deal and the offense runs thru him as it should. Probably a deeper team than NCC has had in quite awhile. Past bigs for NCC were very good basketball players but the QB now playing b-ball after 4 years not playing has some serious athletic ability. Dunks tonight were as effortless as you will see in a high school game. Boone Co relied on the 3 a little too much but inside looks were not falling. Still they hung around and they will knock some of the better teams off this year.

Played in all 5 games. Averaging between 3 and 4 rebounds a game. No scoring yet.

Guess no worries about condensation on the floor tonight. Got to be freezing up on the Hill.

Ludlow only has to be beaten badly by Beechwood for 2 more years. After that the District will be wide open between Dayton, Bellevue, Ludlow and whomever fills the 4th slot. So opportunity is there.

I'd rather say it was a Good Win for Lloyd (on NCC's floor and down 17) rather than a Bad Loss for NCC. And it was. But a think it will do both teams a world of good going forward. Lloyd knows they can win against a quality team. NCC knows they can't just show up and win. Kind of looking forward to the All-A and where both teams are at that time.

Heck a lot of schools do that for regular season games. The KHSAA is clueless and basically does not care about the fans. They need to take a look at what other High School Associations do in other states that works well.

So if a kid went to a Catholic grade school until 2nd grade and then went to a public school from 3rd grade on does that count?

St. X coach said they were 4 plays away from being 9-1 in the regular season and that they were also 4 plays away from being 1-9 in the regular season.

For comparison in the probable move to 2A at the next reclassification we would have to assume: That there will be six classes That the number of Boys will be used That the smallest 32 schools with football will be Class A So using the 2015-16 enrollment numbers here are the number of Boys in Grades 9 and 10 in the following schools: 55 and 58 Beechwood (1A) 40 and 40 Hazard (1A) 45 and 35 Russellville (1A) 43 and 45 NCC (2A) 49 and 52 Cov Holy Cross (2A) 75 and 52 Newport (2A) 105 and 70 Lloyd (2A) 55 and 62 Mayfield (2A) 32 and 31 Dayton (1A) 35 and 39 Bellevue (1A) 36 and 36 Ludlow (1A) We can also assume that teams can play up in class allowing another team to move down and take their spot.

If New Richmond played a killer schedule and went 5-5 beating top teams they would get in. If St. X went 10-0 and did not play in the GCL and Indy schools and Cleveland schools and top Cincy schools and beat no one they would not get in

I said after the last classification that in the next 4 years in 1A .......4 titles was possible, 3 could be expected, 2 would be sufficient and 1 would be less than expected and 0 would be a disaster. After that it is tougher if the move to 2A comes.
