They were solid 1 through 9, good pitcher but not great I wouldn't expect to many teams to beat them 10-1.

Did Bracken's #1 pitcher pitch? Just asking bc HC's coach doesn't start their number 1 in big games. If she did and she wasn't hurt this is a very nice showing by CC. I was thinking about saying how I thought this is the worse year ever for the 37th and they both win a game in the region, go figure.

Every team should do this, and if you get close to the end of the season and you have had great weather you start letting teams know in advance about the possibilty of not playing. This has been one of the worst springs in my 6 years but we still sat home not playing on at least 15 to 20 nice days where we didn't have games on the schedule.

Good luck with this, I won't even touch this with a 10 foot pole. Clyde asked for 9th region and that's why she isn't on my list but Erica Lang for SK has a REAL good agruement about being on the first team also. I would place her there over several girls on the list (and no I am not naming them!)

20 games when probably at least 6 or 7 are all A, district or regional games isn't good at all...

Impossible to compare to position players but I will do my best. Please note I am not using any stats just going off what I have seen so I won't have any Cooper or Dixie players. The thread says top 10 players not most valuable bc mine would be different if that was the case. 1. Madyson Moran, bc she's my daughter why wouldnt have her number 1!!...one of the few players in Nky to get a D1 ride and one of the very few in the state to get 100% athletic..will be right up there at the top or near the top in state history for most offensive records playing many less games than most and her defense is where she really earned her scholarship. I could go on and on! 2. Haylee Smith, the best pitcher in the area but also would be right at the top if she didn't pitch. 3. Laura Finke, games I have seen she has been a real force on both offense and defense for NDA. 4. Grace Herrman, great defensive catcher and all around players. Does well hitting and runs bases well. 5. Noelle Butts, if it was most valuable she would be 1 or 2 along with Smith. Pitches, hits and is a hard worker. 6. Casey Kohls, love her game and engery 7. Dallis Knotts, maybe a little low for her but can't have everyone in top 3..all around good player and finally got Boone into the region. 8. Tie Ali Crupper and E. Simms both of their teams would really struggle if they both weren't as good as they are. 9. NCC catcher, ton of energy and hits the ball well. 10. 3 way tie...Beechwoods center fielder, only game changing outfielder I have seen this year. Sheby Grayball, should be higher but hasn't hit her best in games I have seen...going to have huge numbers if she stays healthy and teams pitch to her. Bailey Spencer has a chance to be one of the top pitchers in the area. Keep in mind I have seen some teams more than others.

I would not underestimate GC...yes they haven't played as many games and the comp they would have liked but thays not the kids fault. Doesnt mean the GC kids are not working hard on there own. I know one of them was in their garage the other night at 11:30 hitting and taking grounders. Several of them were in CO last summer playing some of the best competition in the country. They have another that plays for the sluggers who are one of the top programs in the midwest if not the country. IMO the fact the GC played so little games towards the end of the season is just a shame...some of it may have been unavoidable due to weather but I know several people who have told me they have reached out to their coach on nice days for a game and didn't recieve a response back. Thats not the kids fault.

Question, since Holy Cross and Beechwood did not nominate any players did they vote for the nominated players...not that it should have had much effect on Smith bc she should be very well known to ALL nky coaches. But both those schools are in her district and you would hope would have given her high marks..

No not just the 9th not sure who all else is in but BBHS and Simon Kenton players got awards.

Just to be clear not saying Clements necessarily deserves first or second team just saying her hat should have been thrown into the pool bc with out her HC wouldn't be near as competitive.
