Are these the only pitchers?

I have the ingredients: 50/50 splilt water mix between the Ohio and Licking River Sweat from old NCC socks 3 squirts Holy Water BGH pencil shaving 3 cigarette butts 2 table spoons of Rogaine 3 table spoons of grass from the "Hill" 2 cups of pimp juice and a whole lot of crap!

They pay him in cheeseburgers, I guess he will have to go from doubles to single cheeseburgers.

I agree with the heresay part for sure, just gives some of us something to talk about. What ever happens I hope it also works out for the girls.

With out putting words in this posters mouth I think he is trying to say it his opinion that this family causes problems within the softball team. I don't know poster or family but sources are saying the samething for whatever that's worth.

I thought NDA and Highlands were the only schools that got transfers, now St Henry, way to go!!

Not saying Sims did or did not deserve to be on the all regional team but Conner had other very deserving girls as well. Conner had by far the best draw so they should have been in the finals. Not every award needs to go to a pitcher, even though it seems like they always do.

I doubt they forgot about their other pitcher...even though she is a nice pitcher I doubt NDA wins any of the 3 games with out Smith....they were very close with Smith pitching, and they were very fortunate or maybe even lucky to beat Boone. I know Haylee would be the first to give her teammates credit and say she couldn't do it without them and I agree with that....NDA won as a team but Haylee is a huge part if that team...IMO there is not any possible way NDA gets to Owensboro without her...

I am going with NDA...not going against Smith and company again.

Congrats to NDA! Best team all season and in the tourney. Best of luck in Owensboro, I am sure all of NKY will be rooting on you guys. Wish I could have made the game but can't be in two places at once. NDA scored I believe 8 runs in the tourney...I would think all but a couple were unearned. 9th region was crazy this year, pitching and defense matters.

Not to take anything away from you and your team but I would take a top 100 finish at ASA/USA vs winning a regional nationals, its not the same not even close. Most teams go to a regional national bc they didn't qualify for Asa/Usa or they don't think they can compete with the top teams or they just my not be willing to travel, but most good teams will travel. By anybody's standards the Louisville Sluggers are a top org not only in the midwest but in the country. They had a team win a regional national at 12U, they went to ASA/USA the next year and went 0-2 so they finished tied for last out of around a 150 teams. Again I would really love to go to state but if you win state you get your name on a banner in your gym, maybe a ring, have a couple reunions. You win nationals you almost for sure would get a scholarship. Just look at Laser Gold from Ohio they go on a great run and win nationals and I bet almost every kid goes to school for about free. They won ASA/USA when a lot of the top teams had moved onto Premeir but it still payed off very nicely.

I don't like any of your responses!! All kidding aside you would know. Even though we haven't been in the best situation for my kids HS sports I still love HS sports maybe not as much as travel but it's close. Every year I try to convince my self we can beat NDA in soccer or find a way to win the region in softball, of course I am wrong. So yes I would love to go to state and would probably miss just about anything for it but a good Nationals would be close. If you do go to a good Nationals you will see at least a 150 more college coaches than you will ever see at state. Coach Lawson has told me before she does not go to state to recruit any kids she goes to be a representative of UK. Of course if she happens to see a kid I am sure she would. If you look at their roster now it only has 3 KY kids and only 1 really plays a lot.

Are you saying HC screwed something up? That would never happen! I have no clue why the tarp wasn't on the field and if HC should have made sure it was. HC's AD does a good job and I am sure she wanted this thing done today. HC is the host but they do not make any more money than the rest of the teams in the field and have to do a hell of alot more work. (which is dumb if you ask me) So I know the 9th region pays NKU for the rental and the mantaince of the field, not really sure if they didn't want to put it on or what but they are being paid so I am not sure they should have to be told how to maintain their field. NKU is the worst field in the region for the fans, I used to say we should always hold it up there but I don't think so any more. The only place you can really watch the game is in stands right behind the plate.

Head down is great for sure. I love to see kids hitting the ball in front of the plate, she was way in front of the plate so I think it mainly was her timing. Looks like she was trying to keep her hands inside the ball but wasn't able to due to being to far out in front. The locking of the knee which just about all hitters due looked to make her open up with her upper body just a tad more than she may normally. Can't really tell by this pic but it doesn't look like she goes to toe touch which I like. I hear get to toe touch a lot but I think that changes the plain of the eyes so I would rather for a hitter to just get there foot down.

Over that qualifier yes, but if they win that qualifier they goes to Nationals. ASA/USA Nationals is awsome severals years ago before Premier came along it was even better. I have never been to state, well nobody really besides Halyee and the Ryle kids have but I am not sure unless I won state I would choose state over Nationals. Premier Nationals in Huntington Beach CA last year was probably the best week ever for me, well at least the parts I can remember and minus the 16 hours in Vegas prior to making our way to CA.

Who wants to talk a little hitting? Pic two is a great pic of Shelby, by Shelby's standards she did not have her best week at the plate. I probably wouldn't do this with just about any one else but I think everyone knows Shelby is a great hitter so she can take it. What are some of the good and bad with her swing.

Haven't the Highlands parents taught you yet that "The Birds" are all that matter there are no other schools in NKY!!

Good list I agree with all, Finke is the most underrated player in my book but she is talked about on here a little and did my second team in the coaches awards. I love her game she seems to be a complete player. NDA doesn't rip the cover off the ball and I am not sue where there offense would be with out her. Holmes SS is good also, would have loved to have her on our team this year. A lot of rumors flying around that she may not return to Holmes either.
