NDA finished tied for 9th with a pretty tough draw losing to the tourney favorite who can finish no worst than 3rd and and a team that tied for 5th.

That really sucks, I always say if your going to make a mistake make a hustle mistake and it sure sounds like that is what happened here.

Great Job NDA, I am sure you guys will have a really good chance of returning next year.

Who does Moss play with in the Summer?

I think she caught that game so not a lot of rest. I understand his thinking but if it went south early you could get Smith out and bring Jones in. I can't speak for the NDA kids but I am sure they did not have the same thought process going in with Jones vs Smith. Jones is a very capable pitcher but she's not Haylee at this point in her career. I don't think NDA could beat Greenwood no matter how they played it but its the state tourney don't you play your best. On a much smaller scale, HC played NDA 3 times this season and both were fairley close games even though the score looked lopsided in one of those it was still a close game. The 3rd game the coach pitched our number 2 against them, we had no shot and the girls knew it. It effected them in everyway, on the mound and at the plate and in the field...we were beat before the first pitch was thrown.

Jones pitched, Greenwood is going to be hard to beat either way.

No secret here umps are not my favorite people....but just to be fair would the SC people think thoses two calls were botched?

Saw on twitter that Coach Bloomer was not at all happy with the umps after the game.

Can't keep track with all these threads getting closed. NDA scores 2 in the 6th and 2 in the 7th for the walk off win. Skinner said MC had 5 errors.

Smith only needs 3 pitches to get out of the 7th, NDA needs one to tie two for the win.

5-4 MC top of 7th, Terry with an RBI triple and scores on a wild pitch.

NDA with a couple on in the Bottom of 5 but no runs. Top 6 5-2 MC

Sure NDA wanted a low scoring game, they are not really built for a shoot out.

Would the umps make more money for the charity if they had a dunking booth? Also could play pin the tail on the ump, we could have some real fun with this.

Not sure about that...easiest way is for your own coach to nominate you but you maybe able to nominate others as well

Would they still be together if it wasn't for you, if RCC9 would have had the spray back then you guys might be related.

If we donate say $50 bucks to the charity can we be free to heckle the umps as much as possible? And WHEN they make a bad call we can start a dollar cuss jar for every bad word we say to them. Kidding but its a great idea for a great cause.

I would have to take your word bc I don't know. As far as this year if Maddy would have been selected I would have advised her to play bc she could have gotten out of travel ball that weekend. My guess is she would not have summer ball is what she has lived for. She didn't have a conflict with the soccer all state game but still choose not to play. Being commited makes it easier to play but if we had a big quailfier to play in no way she would have played, can't let down your whole team when one of your main goals is to get to Nationals.

She was not offered, as stated no one can be selected if there coach is not a member. Again another rule that just hurts the kids. Also again does this happen in other sports? No so why is ok to happen for it to happen in softball.
