You better hope you don't run into my team at the top 50 or that will be an L for you guys!! St Louis, Scenic City and Atl Legacy are a couple of the best tourneys in the midwest for the fall season. Most people around here have no idea how important fall ball is for recruiting. Chattanooga is my favorite place for softball outside of Cali. Good luck, glad I made you feel bad and sign up again!!

I don't want to speak for sweeperboy and I don't know his daughter but I thinking maybe what the Reds saw in Billy Hamilton a couple years ago. There are plenty of great athletes that are really good at their sport but maybe not great at that time.

Enjoy it, I lived it for 9 years with my daughter and enjoyed almost every second of it!! Making a trip this weekend to watch her play some fall ball, I missed her first games bc I had a conflict with my team so it will be nice to see them play. We play Liberty, Virgina, Virgina tech and Radford. Should be a fun weekend.

I am trying!! I do my best to keep people fired up to keep the banter going but its hard right now, and yes I know its the offseason but no reason we still can't talk softball. We could at least talk bad about people on here to have a little fun, like how much the Bat Boy eats, how short Boone's coach is, how HHS and NDA always seem to land transfers but do it under the rader of the KHSAA or about how unlucky Lawnboy is!!! Can someone at least tick Softballfan off bc we know that is fun!!!

Since the free membership ended I do not believe we have seen some of our beloved members. Meatpuppy, bat boy, red truck and so on. Are these people that cheap that a couple bucks have stopped them from promoting girls fastpitch in NKY. They are starting to act like the NKY coaches who would rather not pay the $25 to be part of the coaches assocation. Come on guys we need you! The first active free member to reach out to me I will cover one year of their membership, I am poor but I will find a way to come up with the 2 or 3 cents a day it cost to be a member!!

How did all the teams fill out after tryouts, we had several teams looking for players. How many NKY kids are playing on local teams?

I joke that I have always been on "poor teams" bc a lot of the familes we have played with over the years do have to make real sacrifieces for their daughter to play. I think we always worked together to make it happen, I know I have shared a lot of hotel rooms over the past to help keep cost down. We always tried to have cookouts at the hotels to save some money on food we would try to car pool and so on. There's a lot of things you can do to try and keep cost down but in the end it's still expensive.

I believe boys get 9.9 and girls get 14. Not real easy on the boys side to get your school paid for by playing soccer.

Who was the last team to beat NDA in NKY before this game? Thinking it had to be 2 or 3 years ago, maybe the year St henry won state?

Fall ball for travel season should be in full effect or getting ready to be. Does anyone have any updates, what showcases are you attending?

The Beverly Bandits have expanded into Ohio with 3 teams this year. So most of it is in the Columbus area but yes some is in Chicago. Just like any higher level travel org though we go where the coaches and high level tourney's are. For instance we will be in Huntington Beach in a couple of weeks. My wife and work loves that I am coaching!!

Better question is why would anyone ever go to Portsmouth for any reason!!
