Sources confim Hannah Dossett to Ball St Congratulations to Gallatin County's Junior (2015) Hannah Dossett who verballed committed to Tyra Perry and the Ball State Cardinalsin the MAC conference. I know Hannah and her family have worked very hard for her to reach her goal of playing D1 softball.

I know this isn't always the case but most coaches care more about keeping their job than a couple girls hitting an umpire in a fall ball game. Doesn't mean that's right just my opinion.

Yeah this story is hitting all the softball boards, the pitcher is committed to Utah I believe, if your her parents how would you like her getting this kind of attention.

I wouldn't blame the girls even if they were a willing party to this, at that level the coaches have so much influnence on them.

You are right we don't know the whole story, but that 2 minute clip sure looks bad for that coach and those girls. I wonder if everyone would be upset if a boy catcher did this instead of a girl? Again its wrong either way just wondering..

My hatred for Umpires is well documented on here but if you are a coach you can not do this. Your better off just punching them in the face and leaving the kids out of it!! (kidding) You need to watch the whole 2 minutes to get a feel for what happened but the incident occurs at the 1:39 mark.

I do not have a kid that plays basketball and attend very few games and I am certainly not an NCC fan but I did attend one of NCC girls games last year. The game in question was the NCC/HC I believe NCC shot like 40 free throws to very few for HC. The NCC fans still did not seem happy, both sides were all over the refs and they should have been bc they were horrible. If you make bad calls your going to get people upset at you, its life. The bigger problem I see is the way girls basketball is coached, in the few girls games I see a year there is a foul either called or not every trip down. Maybe teach the girls how to move their feet a little and teach them to play defense with out fouling and it would take some pressure off the refs. Or just do the easy thing and blame Lawnboy!!

Thanks but you are ruining my street cred!! Megan's a great kid, she can swing it with the best of them. We have 3 kids verballed so far, Ohio State, North Carolina and Ohio U. Hoping to have all 12 done by nationals next year.

No worries in a couple years the HHS parents will buy the field next to their's and turn it into a parking lot and maybe have an indoor dome so they can play and practice all year. That should at least push them ahead of NCC for the top team in the district!!!

Ok another question since most districts are laying off teachers and cutting budgets and you guys are building a field are you guys going to at least purchase a tarp? Kidding about the teachers stuff everyone knows I care a lot more about softball than teachers!!

I am sorry you do look good and a pig may be taller than you!! If you lose Meatpuppy as an asst maybe you guys could make some noise in the tourney! I have seen him catching balls from Maddy and Shelby before, I feared for his life!! So will there be a shuttle so us die hard fans don't have to walk so far. As much as your parents drink that could be alot of fun seeing them drive fans to and from the parking lot and the field in a golf cart!! And as I have stated before I may come to some games but I will never root for HHS, I may end up cheering on many individuals from their team but I will NEVER root for that school.

All right so the cake eaters expect us to walk to the game, will we have to pay a gate fee as well? Some schools don't bus in so the players alone might come in 10 different cars, who is planning these things, what about the elderly. Where's the beer garden that was promised? I would like to quote a great line at this time. "you can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig!!"

Due to the Lawnboy factor I am sure this game will get rained out. Is there going to be enough parking in this area. What about restrooms?
