AllenR you are the man! I was just going to post they broke ground on the NEW home of the Highland Lady bluebirds!

Almost looks like they are clearing off an area for the beer garden Meatpuppy promised JMU if he becomes a Bluebird fan.

Looks great though should be a lot of fun. Let me know if you guys get that beer garden done and I will come to one game this season. It will be when you play HC and I will even wear and off color blue!!

Looking forward to having a home field that isn't a SWAMP from the morning dew!

Due to the Lawnboy factor I am sure this game will get rained out.

 

Is there going to be enough parking in this area. What about restrooms?

I'm personally not clear about what will be completed for the coming season and what we are still raising funds for.

I think that is pretty much going to be a pain... If you're not there at a decent time, be prepared to :walk:

There is a small lot next to the field and spaces all along the road next to the crappy field. Plus parking at Woodfill Elementary.

However I'm not concerned. I have a couple of reserved parking spaces.

Parking could be a challenge, but at least you won't have to walk down the long hill anymore! I would guess there will be about 30 spots next to the field and maybe another 10 right behind the other field in the pic. After that, you would have to walk from just about where this pic is taken.

My prediction is that you would become the biggest HHS fan and I'd lose Meatpuppy as an assistent because I wouldn't be able to keep him from hanging with you up there. I guess I could get him a head set so we could communicate.

I am sorry you do look good and a pig may be taller than you!!

 

If you lose Meatpuppy as an asst maybe you guys could make some noise in the tourney! I have seen him catching balls from Maddy and Shelby before, I feared for his life!!

 

So will there be a shuttle so us die hard fans don't have to walk so far. As much as your parents drink that could be alot of fun seeing them drive fans to and from the parking lot and the field in a golf cart!!

 

And as I have stated before I may come to some games but I will never root for HHS, I may end up cheering on many individuals from their team but I will NEVER root for that school.
