Final from Owensboro

Saw on twitter that Coach Bloomer was not at all happy with the umps after the game.

I don't usually bring umps up, but they had a definite and dramatic effect on this game. Both teams played equally hard, and had equal pitching and hitting stats. Two botched calls swung the favor to SC, though, and that is what it is.

 

Don't know where this umpire crew was from, but they were poor. This is the State Tournament, and if the game is just too big for you to handle, blue, check out and let someone else of higher capacity take over. These are the best teams and they deserve the best umps.

No secret here umps are not my favorite people....but just to be fair would the SC people think thoses two calls were botched?
