Thanks for the lesson. I am aware that you posted the population center. For reference, I decided to post the geographic center. And for reference, seems like smaller schools in more remote locations can pack the house better than large schools from larger communities. People still must travel from all 16 regions.

The geographical center of Kentucky is in Marion County, 92 miles from Diddle and 142 miles from BB&T. I will say that BB&T is a nice facility. I was dead set against the tourney moving even though it was to my benefit. I'm sure they will learn from their growing pains.

KHSAA just tweeted that all would become available.

Maybe the comparisons should be made vs WKU's first few years of hosting instead of their last few years. I'm sure WKU, Bowling Green and the KHSAA got better at their respective roles as the years went by. I thought the show this week was good and it will likely get better. As for attendance, I can't comment on what it will take to get people in the seats.

Trimble County did their part. One of the smallest counties in the state brought over 1000 fans in Wednesday night. Not a bad following for a school 80 minutes away.

Trimble County sold out of their first allotment of tickets yesterday in under two hours. More tickets being sold at the school today. Look for a large crowd from the blue and gold.

It's not my intention to beat this story to death, but wanted to share with you a link to a story going around on Facebook in Trimble County. It shows how sure Coach Stewart was that this group of girls could get to where they are. Also, the first game of the season, she had shirts made that chronicled the past. The motto for the season is Honor the Legacy, Inspire the Dream. That opening night, the shirts had the timeline with 76 and 81 bolded and then the count from 81 on up to now. after 35, the 36 had the circle with a line through it for NO 36. Well. There was no 36.
