I tried after the game ended and it was bad. I tried at 3:30am on Sat morning and still bad. i tried several times on Sat still bad. I tired Sunday morning and it is running without a problem. It seems whatever problem there was is not corrected (at least for me). Anyone having issues should try it again.

Getting the update on the playoff game between Silver Grove and Covington Latin at half time.

I though maybe if I waited until late (now 1:46am)when the internet traffic was low the feed would be better - Video still buffers to much to view - except the commercial breaks - no buffer there (of course). Last year it was not this bad.

You can watch the first game class 1A now online but the video is constantly being buffered. I could not watch much of the game it was driving me nuts:eek:

I believe part of the reason the KHSAA went to 6 classes is to try and satisfy the public school concerns about competing with private schools. I cannot understand their logic, however like any governing body - decisions made to try and help have unintended consequences - like games that are not competitive. Bishop Brossart had patitioned KHSAA to play in 1A because it was a new program and they were turned down. KHSAA was holding to the alignment - very few changes were allowed.

CCH is more likely to remain in 4A. They have 8 schools with higher enrollment and would have to jump from 504.5 to close to 524 to move up. However there are no 3A schools in NKY - closest is Mason County HS.

Frosh and Soph's may not matter - KHSAA alignment may put CCH and HHS in different class. HHS is the smallest 4A school now and with alignment they may drop to 3A (unless KHSAA allows them to move up).

By the end of the game SC team was out of gas. They were bent over holding onto their pants trying to catch their breath. Game was played fast and there was not much time to rest and it showed in the score.

Just FYI - KY School Ranking for class 6A - 1,453 to 705 5A - 695 to 525 4A - 524 to 419 3A - 417 to 331 2A - 330 to 200 1A - 199 to 65 Largest NKY school is Simon Kenton 792 boys and them Boone County 790 boys - Ryle lists 770 and Campbell Co. at 746

Highlands Class 4A standing is based on 419 boys in 4 grades average over 2 years. They have around 320 boys in 9 thu 11 based on Ohio ranking. They would fall in DIII Ohio. I believe Elder has 714 boys in the three grades.

They are the smallest 4A school and are ranked 110th in the state for the number of boys. The number one ranked HS in Kentucky is St X with 1,453 boys and Trinity is second with 1,357 boys (grades 9 thru 12). Trinity beat Elder 45 to 21 Ohio considers grades 9, 10 and 11 when making divisions – Cincinnati St X has 1,164 boys (Grade 9 thru 11), Colerain has 822 boys, Elder comes in at 714 boys. Highlands would be in Division III in Ohio based on the number of Boys (grades 9 thru 11) and how they are classified. Highlands loss to Elder 38 to 24 given Elder's size and pool of boys to draw from made me proud of the guys playing for HHS tonight.

Playing one Ohio D I school a year I can see helping the program to prepare for the State Tournament but expecting a school of 419 boys to play a D I schedule year in and year out, is a large challange. I think Dale has done a good job adding a mix of quality teams that offset the district teams that are not.
