  1. They are basically aligning their policy with the white houses position. That is very sad for American.
  2. The white house will need to silence all the soldiers in his unit. You watch them in an interview and it quickly becomes clear he deserted. All the talk about "we don't negotiate" .. lol I thought at the time there was more to the story. I was thinking he might have been CIA, special Op's ect ect... Nope just your run of the mill deserter... 5 really bad guys for 1 deserter. What in the world was Obama thinking.
  3. Im not sure being 1, 2, 3 or 4 really matters. I've watched all 4 teams multiple times. Each imo can beat the other on any given night. Throw in the district at BC and that might just give BC an Paris a little edge. Grc has a slight edge in experience in high pressure distric games since the other teams rosters are made up of kids that haven't really Been in those battles. It should be the best district tournment in years.
  4. dang I'm not sure what I just watched.. Sort of a cross between soccer and basketball. If that's the road to the NBA he better pack extra underwear it's going to be a long trip..... On a serious note... I hope he can make some $$$$ before his window to play closes. I love seeing these videos of overseas ball. They each have there own flavor, this one was very unique. thanks for the link!!!!
  5. I'm with Clyde... if he does this has much as some are claiming he does, how in the world has he walked out of some of these games. I'm old school, but back in the day we always had a kid on the bench ready for situations like this. Surely this don't always happen? Don't the ref's catch it? Don't the other team provide video proof ?
  6. Who is 2 thru 6 will be settled later. Several of these teams won't even make It to the regional. This will be the best 10th region districts and regionals in years. Depending on the draw, 1 if not 2 of the first round games should be very good games.
  7. Mustang, I couldn't agree more. A lot of talk on bgp about how good certain coach's are. Code's name doesn't always come up. All he does is win an more importantly he wins with Brossart kids. These Augusta kids are a fun group to watch. These kids have played the last couple of years in the shadow of one player. I think these boys are proving there was more to them then 1 player. Ky hs basketball at its best!!!
  8. It is embarrassing for the school and the community. No matter what sport it is the officials are always making bad calls against MoCo. What you are hearing tonight is the same anytime MoCo is getting beat.
  9. They were on fire. But BC is much improved under their new coach. GRC is the clear favorite in the district due to their defence an improved offence. BC, Paris an MoCo are all about even. This will be the best district tournament in years.
  10. I'm total old school. I like a coach who will still hand out a good butt chewing. However Carr imo just looks and acts crazy to much. The affect on the players after seeing his act over an over can't be good. You can coach any team to play hard without constantly going nuts on them. I chuckle every time i see a coach getting praise for this style.
  11. Ok, thx pp92.... So sometime after he was ruled eligible at SC im guessing/assuming someone was able to provide evidence that something wasn't right. If that was the case, im wondering how the kid and his family feel about those who pursued this. This could be a crazy story if they go on to win the region. They will now clearly jump into the top four teams in the region if he returns and chemistry issues are minimal.
  12. I sorta think/hope they got this right. Help me someone please... he played at SC an did so based on being ruled eligible prior to playing. Is that correct?
  13. This was a great confidence builder for MoCo. When they shoot it well they can hang with most teams. They need to find ways to score when the 3 ball is not falling. If they get that figured out they will move up into the top group of 10th region teams.
  14. What im saying is.... Khsaa has transfer rules. Kids transfer all the time and are ruled eligible. When one gets red flagged more times then not something doesn't add up like a valid change of address. I have no idea what the red flag was in this case. Per some posters on this board it looks like maybe this was the issue. Obviously something has changed since he was ruled eligible, started to play for sc then was ruled ineligible. I might have missed this in the thread but wasn't he ruled eligible to play at the start of the sc season?
  15. I like boyle by 5 to 10 points. Boyle has 3 things that can cause lc issues. 2 guards that can handle the press and a big on the back of the press that can finish. Im guessing lc will run their soft press as long has the game is close. If they really get aggressive I look for elkins to shoot layups off the back. Being at lc and its their tournament, bc will have their hands full. Excellent chance for bc to prepare for march imo. Same for lc, playing against a team with a solid 5 like elkins will help lc see where they are at this point.
  16. How are you comparing the two? Im curious, we have many teachers throughout our family. I hear their complaints but I honestly didnt tie the 2 together.
  17. I can see this both ways. Kendal for several years could be seen at local gyms dragging lil hc aau teams(10u, 11u) around trying to make the program better. I cant say I saw many if any other 10th region coaches doing this. He certainly seem involved . Losing a kid like this really hurts in a small town. DJ's parents have every right to move him. Im just thinking they might not have covered all their bases. My 2 cents
  18. Iceland??? Wow I didn't know they had a pro league. Good for Vee, super good kid!!!
  19. Bc are winning games now that they they should. If Sosby can change the losing mentality this could be a nice squad by march.
