Collins trailed 12 to 2 going to bat in the bottom of the 6th. They scored 6, to make it 12 to 8. Fern Creek scored 3 in the top of the inning to go up 15 to 8. Collins tied in the 7th at 15 to send it into extra innings. Fern Creek scored 3 to go up 18 to 15, Collins then won it in their last at bat 19 to 18. Four of their five wins have come in their last at bat. I don't know how much the coach can take.

There will be some changes next week Ballard lost to Oldham Co. last night 5 to 1.

True story Our daughter has a June b-day, started school on time age 5 in kindergarten. Really struggled in school til the 3rd grade, she is a senoir now and has always been one of the youngest in her class. Our son also a June b-day, we waited to start him at 6 , it was the best decision we have ever made besides deciding to have kids. We didn't hold him back because of sports but because of school that extra year has really hepled him maturity wise. As far as sports go other than school, kids have to play with their age group so it is not really an issue.

Congrats to SK, Collins was able to control Owens for 3 quarters of the game by playing man defense, I'm not sure why Collins switched to a zone, because that was when Owens took over, again congrats to SK, I think they will have a tough time tonight. If Anderson is not hitting from outside, SK might have a shot to knock off the favorite.

The calls were bad on both sides. I guess you forgot about the two elbows to the faces of the Collins players, both were called as fouls on the Collins kids, and one fouled out on the play.

Collins was totally out played in the first half, they made a good come back in the 4th quarter, but ran out of gas in the OT, as far as the clock, the clock does not start until the referee signals the clock operator to start the clock. SK and South should be a good game, I think the winner will go to state.

Final from Shelbyville. Collins was led in scoring by freshmen Michelle Roberts with 20, Aaliyah Wells only 9. Bailey Rankin had a steal and scored to tie it at 42, then stole it again to give Collins the opportunity to take the lead. McMurtry had 26 to pace the Colonels.

I don't know everyone but I try to pick a few. Oldham Wishnevski, Lopesivera, Leaton, Leanhart Anderson Searcy, Brummett,Robinson, New Walton Thacker Gallatin the Dossett sisters Collins Rankin Henry Deburger, Stanley I know I have missed a few, but I don't know everyone.

Actually it did not go double overtime. Collins made a basket before the buzzer sounded at the end of the overtime period. It was a good high school basketball game. South led in the first half as much as 13 points from great three point shooting, I think they led by 10 at the half. Collins battled back led by Buddy Johnson Dez Marshall and Camron Wells came of the bench to hit some big buckets in overtime, Ralphie Stone probably played his best game of his young career. South played without Jack Sheery still serving his KHSAA suspension. Both teams would probably be favored to make the regional final in March.
