  8. Are you allowed to keep the bats in a blanket to keep them warm in High School?
  9. Collins starts the season with 3 returning starters from 2011-2012 season. They will need to replace all region performer Cardwell and solid scocer Mouser. They return one of the leading candidates for region player of the year Aaliyah Wells. Clemens and Rankin return along with a number of juniors and freshmen that saw action last year. They will need to develop additional scoring to take the pressure off Wells. They should be one of the top teams in the 8th region along with Anderson, Walton Verona, Simon Kenton, Gallatin, and South Oldham.
  10. Yes, she keeps everything organized.
  11. Collins new coach Suzanne Witten Cates!
  12. I won't post the names of the girls on the forum, but here are the schools they attend. 1 Collins, 1 Sacred Heart, 3 Jeffersonville Indiana, 1 Charlestown Indiana, 1 Floyd Central Indiana, 2 Scott County, 1 Ryle, 2 from the Paducah area, and 1 from Tn. Looking forward to watching this team play. It is bitter sweet knowing it is the last travel team my daughter will play on, it has been a wonderful experience, I wouldn't trade the friendships that we have made the last 6 years for anything, even opposing teams.
  13. The Stunners will play their first tournament of the fall this weekend at the Heartland Showcase in Cinncinati at Mid-America ball park.
  14. Collins has an opening for head coach it will be posted this week.
  15. SSC what was the college coach situation, I'm assuming most were west coast and western schools. I know in Alabama there were alot of southeastern and midwest coaches. I had always heard about the number of coaches that went to ASA nationals, but it was truly amazing to see 10 to 15 coaches at our games.
  16. Stunners let first pool play game slip away, 6 to 3. To many errors, gave up 4 unearned runs. Daughter had 2 doubles though.
  17. Louisville Stunners 95 travel to Alabama for the ASA A16 Nationals, begin pool play Monday @ 1 against Minnesota Sting 96. These young ladys have worked hard for this opportunity. Good Luck to everyone and safe travels.
  18. Girls are from the following schools: Collins, Sacred Heart, DuPont Manual, PRP, 3 from Bullit East, Bullit Central, 2 from Charlestown In., 3 from Jeffersonville, In.
  19. Thanks, this group of young lady's has worked hard to get there. The core of this team won the B national last year in Bloomington, they have played good competition this summer in Colorado and Ohio, hope they are competitive and do well in Alabama.
  20. Louisville Stunners 95 win 16u ASA State to earn birth to ASA Nationals in Montgomery AL.
  21. Allie will probably redshirt next year to learn the system, Allie should have been player of the year in the 8th region she had the best season.
  22. Allie Veech OC Louisia Lafayette Tori Silcox OC Centre Rebecca Mouser Collins Spalding Danielle Desilvy Shelby Midway
  23. The ASA State tournament was cancelled today in Bowling Green because of rain, was rescheduled for next weekend. I'm not sure what teams will decide to do, because some teams are scheduled to play in the Murfreesboro showcase. What would you do forfeit your entry fee to the showcase and make the tournament directors mad for future years and play for the bid to ASA nationals which has been your goal all along, or honor your commitment?
  24. The Stunners finished 4-1, lost in the super pool final to Duneland Flyers 9 to 8, they scored in their last at bat with 2 outs to win. The best hitting team we have faced this summer. They had 2 solo bombs and a grand slam in the game, and my kid it her first of the summer a 3 run hr. Headed to ASA State next week.
