Stunners finished 4-3, pool play 3-1 should have won their pool but couldn't close the door, had 4 errors in last inning, ended up 2 seed. Lost first game in bracket to Homer Hawks in extra innings 5 to 4, beat a team from California then lost to Wasco Diamonds. The error bug killed them in all their loses, run ruled all the games they won.

The tournament is managed by Triple Crown Sports. Sparkler and Fireworks consist of over 1100 teams, the coaches were told after pool play they will combine both tournaments. I have seen more college coaches at this tournament than other exposure events my daughter had attended. There are teams from everywhere, Alaska, Hawaii, California just to name a few. This is a once in a lifetime experience to get to see what a beautiful country we live in and play against teams from all over the country.

Louisville Stunners finished 6-1 and allowed the least amount of runs in their pool, but the loss kept them out of the championship game at Capital City Showdown in Columbus, Ohio. Their only lost was to a team from West Virginia. There are players from Collins, Sacred Heart, Bullit East, Bullit Central, PRP, Manual, Jeffersonville Ind. and Charlestown Ind.

Collins played Scott Co. at the Franklin Co. tournament. The umpire behind the plate coached over half the girls from 10u to 14u slammers from Georgetown. His daughter plays 1st base for Scott Co. He told a Collins fan he would throw him out of the park if he said anything else about it. The fan told the Collins pitcher she wouldn't get the outside pitch because she didn't play for the slammers. The fan asked the head of umpires for the 11th region at the tournament if he knew the situation, and he put him on the game anyway. There were 3 other games going on he could have worked. Should this be brought the attention of KHSAA?

Walton is a well coached team that doesn't make many mistakes and they capitalize on your mistakes. Collins beat 14th ranked North Laurel to win their pool, to face Walton in the final.

Even though oldham co. had a good record last year, there was alot of stuff going on behind the scenes that most people didn't know was happening. OC is one of the most talented teams in the region. If they can keep outside influences from effecting them they will be the team to beat this year.
