Collins 36 Simon Kenton 41. Final from North Oldham. It was not pretty but the Pioneers will take it. Moving on to 8th Region Final. Owings had 19. P. Bosse had 10. Cook did not score. Bigs scored a little. Lots of unforced turnovers and inpatient possessions.

Congrats to Coach Stowers and the Pioners and also, congrats to Coach Conder and the Titans and a good showing. Phillip is always tough to beat at tourney time.

A win is a win!! The officiating wasn't much better tonight than the 1st game. Collins #34 looked great tonight. Owens and Bosse made key 3 pointers when they were needed. Owens had 19 and was clutch! Bosse had a double double and Cox was strong on the inside. Tomlin shut down their shooter in the 2nd half. Looked like Cookie was sick! Live to play another game!

Congrats to the Lady Pioneers.

Congrats to the lady Pioneers. I wasn't sure if Stowers was still coaching. I really hope he gets a state title at some point because his family has been a big big part of SK, NKU and NKY that it just seems so citi g for it to happen at some point. Really great family.

Congrats to SK, Collins was able to control Owens for 3 quarters of the game by playing man defense, I'm not sure why Collins switched to a zone, because that was when Owens took over, again congrats to SK, I think they will have a tough time tonight. If Anderson is not hitting from outside, SK might have a shot to knock off the favorite.

SK is gonna have to shoot better tonight and hit the glass hard or it will be a long night. Maybe this game made the team tougher. I predict the score in the finals to be much higher.

SK kids were tight. I believe they let the moment get to them. Perhaps as an underdog, they will be able to relax. They need points from the bigs to take pressure off the guards.
