Final per the scoreboard.

Sounds like a great game. Two of the top teams in the 8th. Any details?

The top two 8th region teams seperated by 2 points in double OT.

It is a shame there is not much interest in this thread. These are probably the two best teams in the region and they evidently had a heck of a game.

The problem is most of the 8th region posters are from the northern part of the region. The 8th is sandwiched between the two most populated areas of BGP, NKY and L'ville.

Nah, that's not really it. It's just a basketball score, not a standardized test score. Those are the only things - scores - that really matter in that neck of the woods. :sssh:

Actually it did not go double overtime. Collins made a basket before the buzzer sounded at the end of the overtime period. It was a good high school basketball game. South led in the first half as much as 13 points from great three point shooting, I think they led by 10 at the half. Collins battled back led by Buddy Johnson Dez Marshall and Camron Wells came of the bench to hit some big buckets in overtime, Ralphie Stone probably played his best game of his young career. South played without Jack Sheery still serving his KHSAA suspension. Both teams would probably be favored to make the regional final in March.
