Did you not say it's based on performance throughout the entire tournament? So if Crittendon had a better avg and better stats in the title game wouldn't that mean you would agree she should have replaced Igo on the All Tourney team? I'm not trying to take anything away from Igo! Trust me she is a great player but this to me is pretty straight forward.

Problem with this statement is the ballots are out and voting ends before the District Tourney starts. I believe that to be correct and if I'm wrong I apologize. I wish it was after the Regionals at least but I don't think that is the case.

Easily handled? Let's start by saying I WAS NOT at the game but I've read in other posts that SK kept fighting back and even cut the score to 7 or 8 in the 4th. They also only won by 11. Just curious how you feel this was Scott Co. "easily handling" SK?

Just heard the Lady Raiders are retiring #35 tonight before their game vs. Cooper. I think she will be the only Lady Raider with this honor. She was an outstanding basketball player and very fun to watch. Congratulations to Jenna!

You call losing Riddle (15 PPG) not losing much? Interesting! Yes I would love to see the match up honestly. Ryle lost by 1 I believe at Scott Co. Last year. Also, with ryle recent loss to Mount Notre Dame I’d say an undefeated Scott Co team get the SLIGHT edge for #1. Need to face facts Scott Co really hasn’t played anyone yet.

7-1 start for this team isn’t surprising when you look at their schedule. Looking at it as a whole this team may only lose 7-8 games. Very favorable schedule imo but it’s what should be expected when you have a team this young.

Agreed! A senior group that went to 4 straight regional finals winning two of them. Question is will Holmes ever be back to that? If so how long will it take? No freshmen team and JV team doesn’t look much better than current varsity team.

Let's not forget the swinging elbow Sherr caught in the face that was NEVER called! End of the game CC kids holding, grabbing and even threw a player down and nothing was called. Very rough game to say the least. Hoping to see Crittendon and Schwartz suit up against the birds because I agree it will be a good game. Not sure on my prediction yet because of not knowing the status of the injured players. I'd say it will be a great game but if those two are out of action it could be trouble.

It is difficult to gauge how good they are. However they have a schedule that will really test them. As far as the scrimmage I don’t know why they’re not in the event. The only thing I know is the schedule they released a few weeks ago and it’s at Ryle.

I'll give you the argument of Boone Co. Dixie has the majority of their team back and Bullitt East is probably the only team who can challenge Mercy for the Regional Crown. Campbell Co. lost almost 60PPG so I don't see how they can be as good as some of the teams.

"On paper" Conner was the preseason #1 and Ryle was #3 last year. Can't buy much into any comments that start with that. I think both regular season games will be very good! Loads of talent on both sides. I have a feeling they will meet 3 if not 4 times this coming season.
