Bowling Green dropped Trinity from it's schedule but yet wants to be viewed as the #1 team in the state but until one of the Big Dogs in Kentucky beat's Trinity then there is no discussion here Trinity is #1. BTW BG is only better in your mind this year & one last question did BG beat Trinity this year or any other year for that matter? C'mon BG guys!! This is getting old. Trying to compare scores verses common opponents just doesn't fly. Again it DOESN"T PROVE A THING when you are dealing with good teams. Bottom line here BOWLING GREEN NEEDS TO STEP UP & SCHEDULE TRINITY & this will all be put to rest. For the record BG is on par with Trinity this year but I think Trinity is still a little better from what I've gather from watching both teams play!!!

Sorry Joker but that one doesn't fly because everyone knows Trinity has set the bar by proving their Excellece. While X is a proven big dog, they have played 2nd fiddle to Trinity for quite some time now, furthermore everyone knows the road to #1 in the state goes through Trinity. So if you think your team is the best in the state then you definitly need to step up & schedule Trinity. As I have said so many times before this can be settled on the field by Trinity,X,Highlands,BG & Scott co. playing annaully. Here's what I do know is that Trinity & St X will play any top team. So Highlands Bowling Green & Scott co need to step up to the plate & do the same!!!

McCallie is on par with Highlands & would more than likely beat St X. So yes, I would agree that McCallie would be top 5 in Ky.

at the end of the day, playing head to head is the best way to prove what team is the best. Trinity,BG,Highlands,X & Scott co should always play each other annual that way there is no question as to who the best team in the state is. Now as far as national rankings all you can do is play the best national powers near your state & sometimes travel across a couple of states to play a national power. This system is not perfect but this gives you a pretty good indicator of who the best teams are nationally.

Big Big game coming up when they face Blackmon especially if Blackmon continues to win in the fashion they are winning. If the Purples win this one & Trinity continues to struggle then Bowling will no doubt have a legit claim to #1 in the state!!!

Yes, Bowling Green has proven they are a top tier program.

Coaches DO NOT rely heavily on camps. Camps are only a small indicator of what kid is a D1 players. The biggest tool Colleges rely on is Game Film & competition level

It's simple just ask the College Coaches/recruiters & they will certainly tell you that Kentucky H.s. football is consider below average with exception of a few teams.

It will stregthen there case. while McCallie & Blackman are not national powers, how ever these are top tier teams. So yes, wins over them will be quality wins!!!!

yes, & 95% of Ky's high school football teams are below average teams. Which is why you see such lopsided scores when ever teams face Trinity, Highlands, Bowling green,St X or even Scoot co. Again no disrespect to Lexcath but they ARE NOT a top tier team or a quality win for a team trying proven they are the #1 team in the state!!!

not bias at all. It's plain & simple, you have to play the best to be the best. Going undefeated against non quality opponents doesn't mean you are the best in the state is all i'm saying. Again, it's easy to prove, as I mention before in Addition to playing st x. Try scheduling Trinity, Highlands annually or Face out of state powers. As a matter of fact, BG is very close to Tennessee so there is no reason not to play Ensworth,Brentwood Academy,MBA, or Maryville to name a few. Like Trinity, BG is only required to play it's district games & play whom ever after that. If BG steps up & does this, than there will be no question as to BG being the best in the state. This also will gain them national attention as well, if they are legit!!! Let me end this by saying I've seen BG play & I think they are Damn good team but they haven't proven their worthy of the #1 team in the state because they have few quality wins!!!

BG is looking darn good right now but they have only beaten one good team. Who they also beat the last 2 years. So you are saying they are the best because of it? let's just put it this way if Trinity played the same Ky teams BG has, we all know trinity would be undefeated with lopsided wins!! Bottom line Trinity has proven it's merit, BG has not,so until they play Trinity or Face the powers teams that T has faced it's safe to say Trinity is the Best in the state. my advice to BG is simple play more than just St X. Try also Scheduling Trinity & Highlands annually or face out of State powers. That's what I call proving it!!! anyway enough of that, Congrats to BG for their big win smoking St X!!!

Trinity has some kinks in the armour this year but they still will win 6a cause they are willing to play the best to be the best! T still has a tough road ahead of them with two more possible loses. They won't beat colerain, And moeller will be a toss up. Everone esle T will more then likely beat.
