  1. I heard JV won against St X OH. Galvin went down with another ankle injury.
  2. Nice to see Will Heppler on the court.
  3. How many NCC players were juniors on the JV team?
  4. Does a great job at that! Also scouts the 8th grade - incoming freshman potential while running the league.
  5. Coach Sorrel still helps out with the Fr, JV and Varisty teams.
  6. Nice...he can play the 1 or the 2. CCH is looking good for the future.
  7. Great basketball player. He is trying to get accustom to playing with teenagers that are just as talented as he is. Strange to say but I think he needs to be more selfish. he has given up opportunities to score for a pass. I would expect Vonhandorf will play JV as a freshman at CCH and may get significant varsity time.
  8. CCH had their entrance exam for incoming freshman on Saturday. No Cameron Racke! So is he or isn't he attending CCH next year?
  9. If I recall correctly Galvin likes to play up tempo which fits into the CCH style of play. I have heard that Galvin may get his release on Monday and Heppler on Friday. Heppler has been doing some rehab and Galvin will most likely get a few days of rehab. The JV teams needs a lot of help. I was at the game against St Henry and it was painful to watch.
  10. If they are good enough and can handle the more physical game why not.
  11. CCH JV has a thin bench. 2 players out nursing injuries in Galvin and Heppler and Harriet is not able to play until January due to a transfer. Galvin brings a tough defense and the ability to score as I recall from last year. Heppler will be the big man that they need.
  12. I don't see Racke going to CCH. It would be very interesting if he did. Both would most likely play JV basketball as Freshman with a good chance for Varsity time.
  13. Cameron Racke was at CHH yesterday for open house.
  14. No bigger than he was last year. The sophmore class has a few kids that may get some playing time this year.
  15. Here is the rule: 7. Any player that participates for any reason at the high school level in basketball is automatically ineligible for the NKMSAA regular season league games, as well as NKMSAA post-season tournament.
  16. Elder will give Highlands their first loss of the season.
  17. 10 to 15 3 yard passes will not be effective against the Panthers. There has to be a deep ball threat and I don't think Highlands has that.
  18. Historically speaking, Highlands has allows been in the game or winning, except for last year, in the first half and Elder pulled away in the 2nd half. Highland used to have players go both ways. As I understand it that is not the norm any longer. Elders size and depth will wear down Highlands.
  19. As long as none of the ELder players get suspended like last year...Elder wins the game in the 2nd half.
