I would expect both teams to have all of their players there tonight since the rain should cancel any baseball conflicts. The only other conflict would be freshman football conditioning.

I don't believe that Highlands is the best JV team. Highlands has lost 6 games. Highlands has lost to CCH twice. CHH has lost to Ryle twice. Highlands and CCH both runned ruled Ryle. I think this is a 3 horse race.

Doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results....

More so with the Ohio schools that can only play 27 games in a season. Elder has played 15 games already and has 11 more games on the schedule not counting the cancelled game against CCH. All but one game remaining on Elder's schedule is against Ohio teams. Elder also has 3 games that have been postponed as well against Ohio teams that I would suspect will be rescheduled especially if they have an impact on seeding.

Keep up the good work TOG. There are many on BGP that appreciate your efforts. I actually got to watch the games this weekend. I still would like to see the stats for both games.

There was an infield fly called on a pop up down the right field line that was a very questionable call as well. The Dixie 2nd basemen was never in a position to make an ordinary catch.

The BW pitcher threw very well. Good control and location, not over powering but just enough to keep the CCH hitters off balance for 6 1/3 innings. CCH had some timely hitting in the bottom of the 7th with the top of their lineup to plate 2 runs and win the game.

To my point, Coach Ruthsatz is a full time teacher and the head varsity coach. His assistant varisty coach, JV and Freshman coaches are not teachers. It was my understanding, for parochial schools, the varsity coach has to be a teacher. Can anyone clarify?

Doesn't the varsity basketball coach have to be a teacher or at least work for the school?

This is comical. Who specifically do you know that has deliberately held their kids back for sports reasons?
