Officiating was horrific both ways. As bad as it was, the calls probably evened out over the course of the game and really did not have much impact on the final result. Looked like a game between the Rockets and Tar Devils/Wizards at Sports of all Sorts over the years minus Ben Weyer, though he was in attendance. Best game the frosh Birds have played all year as far as intensity on both ends of the floor.

 

Crowd was a virtual whos who: Dale Mueller, Ken Shields, Willie Schlarman, Kevin Nieporte

Officials were poor! Forgot to report who a foul was on, an over the back missed, it was poor both ways! Kendall has improved his game and I loved Cain's game today, I wish my boy was in attendance to see how to be successful in taking the ball to the hoop! First frosh game that I was able to attend and I thought the birds played well! CCH probably didn't shoot as well as they normally do but a very good squad. I was very impressed with the hustle in the birds

The young man just got approval to play from his Doctor. He looked today, like it has been a while since his last game but even more so, I think it's still in his head to be just a little cautious.

 

Give him a few more games/practices and my oh my!

Tough for Noah as he was just getting back. Good to hear about JV winning against Cin St. X. Did you get a score?

Don't quote me, but I heard it was 56-43. Was told that Galvin just got back from a left ankle fracture and this was his right. They said the St X trainer was at the game. JV team doesn't have many players as it stands now. Maybe Will Heppler can shake the rust off and dress JV for a few games.

Well after the HHS game on Monday the JV doesn't play again until the following week due to the Varsity playing in the Toyota Classic in Georgetown!
