He would not initially stop the clock until he makes sure the defense has recovered the football. As I stated he would run in spotting the ball first then stop the clock for the change of possession.

Didn't see the play or replay but you are incorrect on proper mechanics of the official. He blows the play dead but will only wave his arms if he needs to stop the clock. If he was running into spot the ball he would do that first then wave his arms for a change of possession.

Shoulder, already had surgery, recovery will go until spring so no basketball. He is a junior should be healthy for senior year.

Rough end to a bunch of great careers. This group of seniors has had a ton of success as a team and as individuals. Great group of juniors coming back. SK football is in good hands for years to come. Could not be prouder of all these young men.

Since you only played one half of football against Scott Co and Trinity only played their starters for about a half as well, can we combine that into one game?

Not so sure about that. The loss of Allstat and Young are big. They are still very good but a LOT better is an exaggeration.

Where was the first game played? With the speed of Hendrix and the running back I would think playing on turf would help the Cooper offense. I also think it plays into the Ryle offense's hands as well. Looks like this could be another shoot out.

The Camels will have to grind this game down to a crawl to keep it close, otherwise SK's fast paced offense and speed at their skill positions will get the better of them.

So for you it is a deserving issue. So what happens in a division where there is a 3 way tie? How do you determine who deserves and who doesn't? You can't just eliminate the schools that fit your criteria it would be all of the 4 seeds including a team like PRP. Also you would lose one game a year on the varsity schedule along with it's revenue. Are you OK with that?

What exactly are we trying to accomplish by not allowing all teams into the playoffs? Are we trying to shorten the season by one game or avoid the blowouts that come with some first round games?

I couldn't disagree anymore. All of Cam's big runs have come off the read option when he is making decisions with the ball. He is also terrific at assessing the defense and hitting the open man. He doesn't have the huge arm but he is plenty capable of getting the ball down field and he has proven that all year. Cam's biggest asset is his football intelligence and by pulling him from QB you take a big part of that away. As far as the Ryle game went, I thought he should have been playing QB more than he did. Using both QBs adds several extra elements the defense has to game plan for but it can upset the momentum of the offense if your not careful. Bottom line the coaches are going to have to make big decisions on when to use Matt and when not to. One thing I am confident of is that the two headed monster is not going away.
