  1. Very narrow viewpoint for 2 teams that each have 8 games under their belt.
  2. Ryle beat Cooper by one score and Conner by two scores. Do you think both Cooper and Conner are better than SK?
  3. Gotcha, he has been out for a while. I thought there may have been some injuries from last week. For what its worth, Colton Williams the D1 tackle has been out for a while as well and Trent Kincaid did not play last week for SK. All in all I would say both teams are as healthy as can be expected for this time of the year.
  4. SK has run a 3-4 the last 4 years. Prior to that they ran a 3-5. Could not tell you the last time they ran a 4 man front as a base defense.
  5. This should be another good game. IMO Conner's defense is better than Cooper's but Cooper's offense is better than Conner's. One of the keys will be how much Conner can get Armahn Jackson on the field for offense. He was limited in offensive plays against SK largely due to the hurry up offense SK runs. He is a game breaker and the more they can have him on the field the better it is for Conner. I think Ryle wins this one but it will be another hard fought victory.
  6. Most definitely the breakout QB of the year. The young man has been very impressive.
  7. Alright solid loss it is. I have seen StX albeit in a scrimmage and I will stand by my statement there is not a lot separating 3 through 7 right now. Interesting thing is, of the 5 teams we are talking about 4 of them are led by D1 QB commits.
  8. Good thing they don't stop the games with 6 minutes to go then, and yes I am very much looking forward to finding out who is the best in NKY.
  9. Why would SK need excuses for a 24 point win? No excuses here they won. Probably not their best game but good enough.
  10. So Scott Co had some things happen in the HHS game but SK didn't? I believe you are showing your bias here. In the end Scott Co may be that team but it will be a very close game as I don't think much splits all 5 of these teams.
  11. So in your infinite wisdom, who should be number 3? Scott Co who only beat HHS by 8, St X who got blown out by BG, Lafeyette who got blown out by T?
  12. Remind me again who was playing center for HHS during the Ryle game. Not the most solid of comparisons if you ask me. By your comparison Scott Co should be behind both but wait what about the Ryle/Henry Clay score, should we move Tate's Creek to number 3? They did beat Henry Clay by 26 more than Ryle. I have no problem with Ryle moving up to 3 but to have your sole basis be a common opponent who was in a very different place as far as player personnel is concerned is just silly.
  13. Did you see the game where Scott Co only beat HHS by 8 not 24
  14. If Scott Co can hang with Elder I see no reason why SK couldn't.
  15. I agree with this but I think SK thought with the addition of HHS and Bryan Station and the continued games with Ryle and Cooper they would have at least one of those type games. I would love to see the St X scrimmage turn into a regular season game. If not add Scott Co, a Cincy or other Louisville team.
  16. Just can't see a number three ranking with the close game they had against an average Henry Clay team.
  17. This is a good question. I think you may see a redistrict sooner rather than later but with open enrollment I am not sure how much will change. There is always talk of getting rid of open enrollment but I don't see it ever happening. There would be way to much push back and the school board doesn't want that. SK has established they can fit at least 1750 students so as Independence grows they may set a max per class number and that would effect open enrollment. But then again if they can't compete with 1750 students there might be further issues.
  18. Farsing played QB and it was at least a 3 year streak maybe 4. Oh well time to start a new one next week.
