Im just tossing this out there, and could be completely off on this, but... How does the coaching selection work? Do you need to be an assistant on the team before you can be a head coach? Reason I ask is because he very well have a couple guys on that team next year. He could be positioning himself for the head gig next season. Thoughts?

Isn't the kid at KCD being looked at by some D1 schools? Not sure if he is a senior this year or not.

Of the Beatty era, my team's ring (2001) is the smallest of them all. We had the biggest that was offered at the time, but they have gotten HUGE in the years since.

Of the individuals rings? I'm sure most of us can swing that, but I think what is trying to be done is to get them all together. Pic of all the rings from each state championship

It really should not matter the reason. The thread was addressed to Trinity fans. Are you a Trinity fan? No reason to post on it, especially with something like that. Go ahead and post stuff about Bama in the college board. Ask for pictures of the rings. I'm not a Bama fan, it would not bother me if you did. I would not consider it "classless". I might post in a thread about Bama, but not one addressed specifically to Bama fans. I am not a Bama fan, so I will not post in a thread addressed to their fans. It doesn't make sense. Back to the thread... @Xgrad, I'll lend you my ring from the 2001 team should you want to get a picture of them all.

Happy with the W. Butler played tough. If there QB could have connected on a couple of those passes to open receivers we could have had a tighter game. Any word on the injury to the Butler player?

I'm with you on this one Sandman. When I see that size on a teenager, the first thing I think is not D1. I think can he possibly move, be coordinated, possess bodyweight strength, let alone strength in the weightroom. Potential is there for sure. Sadly in our society, most kids his size lack all of the above mentioned. Hopefully that's not the case with him. Some input from people who have seen him play would shed some light on this. First thing I'd want to do is get him down to a more manageable weight for that size. Somewhere in the 280lb area.

Why does it matter where a kid wen to grade school? I knew I was going to Trinity while I was in the womb. But yet I went to public schools all the way through 8th grade and played Optomist football the entire time.

I think he is the best player on the team. Best prospect you can debate between the other stars on the team. But the best player is Ryan White whenever he is on the field IMO

Trinity dominated from start to finish. Dawkins was a man tonight. Any word of what was going on with Quick on the sideline? He was on the training table for much of the 4th and did not get up to shake hands. Felt like both teams played better overall last outting. Glad to see we only have to travel to Butler.

Yes. And now it's the kid they moved from LB to replace him if my source is right. And I do trust my source.
