Is this the kid that was taken off in an ambulance? I heard he had some broken ribs. Having never had broken ribs I was unaware that it was something that would require multiple nights stay in the hospital...or is there more to the injuries than that?

I bet the ref thought the X player was going to just fall on it and had the whistle blowing as he caught it. Heads up play by the kid who recovered it.

I'm not trying to be argumentative here. You seemed to have the stats available to you if you were able to tell me the game's totals and how many times we threw in the first half, so it did not seem like much to ask for to know how many times we ran in the first half.

Right, but what I was wanting to know was how many times we ran the ball in the first half.

Couple things...we could have easily put up triple digits on SK. This game should have never been played. KY's playoff system is seriously flawed. I understand getting more kids the chance to play in the playoffs, but was this really worth it for them? Secondly, while standing on the fence in the first half, myself and the two other gentlemen I was standing with were discussing the playcalling. It was the first half, we did not expect the starters to be out of the game or for them run FB dives the whole time, but we were confused by the lack of running. I do not have stats in front of me, but I'd be surprised if they ran the ball more than 5 times. It seemed out of the norm for what Beatty and Cov. usually call. Where they working on something specifically? I'm not questioning Beatty and company in any way. You won't find a bigger T supporter than myself. It just did not make a lot of sense to us. On a side note, the OL who taunted the kid after Quick's hit was pulled after the penalty. Not sure if he returned to the game. Beautiful hit, poor reaction by the OL.

Most dominating I played against was Eric Shelton from Bryan Station. Hands down. That entire team was pretty stacked in 99'.

He looks like he has some serious tools. He didn't even see the field the second half. Would have liked to of seen more of him.

I thought the poor punting was going to come back and bite us. Couple snaps seemed to get back rather slow and losing the field position game is always risky against a top team like Moeller. Madaris (is that Moeller's good WR????) did get behind White a couple times tonight. Was surprised by his speed. He did not look that fast on the tape I saw of him.

I thought Moeller did a good job of being physical with the Rocks. Seemed like they kept coming after them....although it did cross the line on more than one occasion. Not sure how some of the shots on the Trinity players were not called. Nice hard fought win for the Rocks.

Did Cincy X play Hundley? I think he, along with a couple other starters rested the previous week.

I can almost promise you they'll be reminded to be properly equipped. In 2001 some guys "forgot" to wear hip pads when we played Shelby County...after conditioning the following Monday everyone remembered their pads for the rest of the season.

Did anyone notice multiple (maybe 5) T players jog off to the lockeroom at various parts of the 1st half? Was that an equipment issue?? I thought Male's QB 17 was a pretty solid all around player. He impressed me. What year is he?

Never would hang 70 on a team to make an example. 70 may happen from time to time, but some of those scores come from the backups. I'm in the "no" camp as well. I think most people will be.
